"My name is Bai Tang." Bai Tang pressed the accelerator without letting up, the earlier commotion had already attracted a large number of Zombies. The Zombies' eyesight was poor; they relied on their sense of smell and hearing to hunt their prey.
"Bai Tang, you give me a familiar feeling. Have we met somewhere before?" Youfu followed Bai Tang's lead, giving half of the water mixed with Antidote Pill to Jiang Miao to drink, while using the other half to rinse his wound. The black blood oozing from the wound was decreasing, indicating that normal red blood was seeping out. Youfu quickly bandaged Jiang Miao with gauze—provided by Bai Tang along with Yunnan Baiyao. Both of them sighed in relief at the same time.
Bai Tang raised her eyes and carefully examined the girl's face in the rearview mirror; it indeed looked somewhat familiar. After going through everyone she knew in her mind, Bai Tang's heart stirred, and she asked, "Are you Circle Puff? I'm Candy Store!"
"You are Candy Store?" Youfu exclaimed in surprise, "You didn't come to the player gathering, and I was disappointed for a long time. I didn't expect we would meet under such circumstances! By the way, Brother Miao also plays Six Realms; his online name is Ten Thousand Cups Never Get Drunk. You must have met him!"
Bai Tang nodded, "Yes, he and Youming Gongzi often help me with my business. Youming Gongzi is your brother, right? Have you two lost contact?"
While chatting in the game, Circle Puff had mentioned her family situation. She and Youming Gongzi were typical rich second-generation kids; their parents built a large family business from scratch but tragically died in a plane crash before they could enjoy their fortune, leaving behind two siblings—one just over twenty and the other just graduated from high school. Fortunately, the You family parents were both orphans with no troublesome relatives fighting over their inheritance, so the siblings lived comfortably off their parents' estate. Since they only had each other as family, their bond was very strong. There would be no situation where they would abandon each other in times of crisis.
"My brother went into town on business, and I was worried about him, so I came out to look for him. Growing up as an illegitimate child in the Jiang family was undoubtedly challenging for him. Upon turning eighteen, Jiang Miao asked Mr. Jiang for one of the villas they used to live in and five million to completely leave the Jiang family behind. That villa was right next to the You family's property; when he lived there, Youfu's parents took pity on Jiang Miao's awkward position in the Jiang family and cared for him greatly. Jiang Miao experienced parental love through them and regarded the You family as his own.
"The city is very dangerous now; if you two go in looking for someone, you'll just be delivering yourself to Zombies. It would be better to find a safe place outside the city to gather information about your brother," Bai Tang suggested to them. In front of Youfu, she naturally wouldn't mention that Youming Gongzi might have already turned into a Zombie or met his end at their hands.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I can't rest easy without seeing my brother safe," Youfu hesitated greatly; she was worried about her brother's safety while also concerned about the dangers along the way—Jiang Miao had already been injured once; did she want to drag him into danger again?
"Bai Tang, where did you get this car?" Jiang Miao suddenly asked.
"I found it on the road. Why? Do you know its owner?"
Jiang Miao picked up a set of keys from under the seat. "These keys are mine. This car belongs to Amin."
Youfu was taken aback and turned to look around. Indeed, the arrangement inside the car felt incredibly familiar to her.
"This is really my brother's car! What happened to my brother? How is he?" Youfu anxiously grabbed Bai Tang's shoulder, tears welling up in her eyes, fearing she might hear bad news.
"Is your brother wearing a white casual jacket and a pair of the latest Lantivi leather shoes, about 1.79 meters tall?" Bai Tang asked.
Youfu nodded repeatedly. "Yes, that's my brother. How is he? Is he okay?"
"Don't worry! He's fine," Bai Tang said steadily while driving. Youfu's little strength had no effect on her. "When I saw him, he had a fever due to the Zombie Virus infection. But I gave him some medicine and moved him to my friend's company. He is safe!"
Youfu relaxed and leaned back against the seat. "That's good, that's good! Thank you, Bai Tang, you are a great benefactor to our family."
"It's nothing; I've already taken your brother's car as repayment," Bai Tang replied. "Your brother will definitely be with my friends; they should be able to escape Magic City safely. In that case, why don't you come with me to a safe place to wait for your brother?"
"To the Safe Base?" Youfu recalled what was mentioned about the Survivor Base and asked, "Isn't it still not established yet? The Safe Base hasn't been set up, right?"
"Don't worry, the government's response speed isn't slow. I believe it won't be long before the base is established," Bai Tang recalled what O Haosheng had told her. There was also an Underground Base in Magic City, located in the southwestern suburbs. Bai Tang decided to do a good deed and take Youfu and her companion to the vicinity of the Underground Base.
"I'll first take you to a place where your safety will be higher. The government is likely to establish a base there, and after your brother escapes the city, he will definitely go to that base."

Bai Tang was heading out of the city from the north and needed to go around half the city to reach the Underground Base. This detour was not easy; the road was littered with abandoned cars, collapsed pits from the earthquake, and wandering Zombies. Sometimes they had to take longer routes. What used to be a half-hour journey now took a whole hour. At night, the three exhausted individuals had no choice but to rest in a farmer's house. (To be continued)
