"Leave quickly, this is not a place for you."
Li Rui was momentarily stunned, wondering why he couldn't be here. Wasn't it just the Fallen Dragon Abyss?

Li Rui furrowed his brow slightly. Not only was he being kicked out, but the other party also seemed ready to resort to violence, which was rather uncivilized.
In their exchange, the two were already entangled with each other. Li Rui didn't understand where this guy found his courage; with a casual wave, the short man was sent flying far away, looking quite indignant.
Then the short man snorted coldly and vanished from sight. This action was bizarre; even Li Rui couldn't figure out how he disappeared.
Li Rui didn't dwell on it too much. With a casual smile, he once again vanished from the spot. Little did he know that in the next second, someone had already set their sights on him.
"This is strange; why is it so quiet around here? And there aren't even any traps. It seems like everything is going too smoothly!" Li Rui murmured. Initially, when the short man blocked him, he felt no danger at all!
As he walked along, he suddenly felt a sense of fatigue wash over him. This shouldn't be happening! Li Rui remembered arriving here feeling quite energetic, but now he suddenly felt a bit sleepy...
Then it hit him—something must be amiss! The air here was different from outside; it felt hard to breathe.
Li Rui turned around to leave, but suddenly the path behind him changed, becoming so unfamiliar that he didn't even know where he was anymore.
He was confused about how to get out and realized that someone must want to keep him here; otherwise, why would there be such disturbances?
Suddenly, a hissing sound made Li Rui frown as he observed everything around him.
Little did he know that his doubts deepened; this tree shouldn't be in that position! How could this situation arise? Could it be that things here could move? That was truly terrifying.
Every time Li Rui turned around, the surrounding environment changed, and he didn't even know what the situation was anymore. A thought lingered in his mind: he needed to leave this place immediately.
Perhaps he realized that his breathing had become rapid without him noticing, as if there were no oxygen around. The air he inhaled brought a faint pain to his heart.
"No! I have to get out of this strange place quickly."
Li Rui covered his nose and lightly jumped off the ground, reaching for a branch.
He hadn't expected that when he reached the tree, a hissing sound echoed again, a sensation that felt somewhat familiar.
In an instant, countless vines attacked Li Rui, startling him and leaving him at a loss.
There was no time to retreat, as these vines surged from all directions, leaving no blind spots. Li Rui felt utterly frustrated in his current predicament.
At the most dangerous moment, he had to make the right choice. He suddenly drew the Water Fire Staff from behind and swept it at the approaching vines.
It was impossible for it to have no effect; it could hold them off for a while but not fundamentally stop them.
Moreover, these vines were different from usual; they were purplish-red, something Li Rui had never seen before. Getting touched by such things would surely lead to various strange accidents.
"That was close." At the critical moment, Li Rui suddenly turned around and used the Water Fire Staff to execute a move called "Two Steps into the Void with Golden Rooster Stands." He thought it would be quite effective.
Little did he know that suddenly, the vines tried to bind his Water Fire Staff, which startled him greatly.
In the midst of turning, he was already entangled by the vines. Despite struggling repeatedly, he still managed to maintain some effectiveness.

Hearing the voice, Li Rui quickly sidestepped and slashed through the vines blocking his path, rushing toward the source of the sound.

Li Rui didn't know what was going on, but when he walked up to the short guy, the vines stopped attacking, as if they couldn't leave the tree.
"Thank you for saving my life!" Li Rui clasped his fists together repeatedly, feeling very grateful.
If it weren't for the short guy's sudden appearance, Li Rui estimated he would have been hanging from the tree by now! Moreover, those vines were as hot as magma, and his back had several scars from being struck; the pain was something he couldn't even describe.

Li Rui took the medicine bottle from the short guy and immediately applied it to his back. A hissing sound came from it, but it felt incredibly cool; this sensation was truly wonderful.

"Why not?"
"Because my parents disappeared in this Fallen Dragon Abyss, and I must investigate; otherwise..."
The short guy seemed to want to say something but swallowed it down.
"Can you take me deeper inside?"
"What? You can't even handle the outskirts and you want to enter the depths of the Fallen Dragon Abyss? Who gave you the courage?"
The short guy shook his head repeatedly, his eyes filled with disdain. Li Rui understood that those things earlier were enough to kill someone at the Core Formation stage, let alone himself.

"Do you think I'm like you? Hmph. There's only one requirement: once we go in, you have to listen to me no matter how we move. Follow my lead, and don't look around or touch anything randomly."
Upon hearing this, a heavy stone in Li Rui's heart finally dropped. This condition was quite simple!
"Why are you helping me?"
