Li Rui took the Fifth-Rank Alchemy Formula from the Old Man's hands, looking bewildered. Although he had hypnotized the Old Man, it seemed too easy to obtain the Fifth-Rank Alchemy Formula with just a bag of candy.
However, it was fine as long as he had the Fifth-Rank Alchemy Formula.
Li Rui controlled his strength and lightly struck the back of the Old Man's neck with his hand. With a muffled grunt, the Old Man's body fell to the ground.
"Master, I'm sorry."
Li Rui crouched beside the Old Man and gently swept his right hand across the Old Man's forehead. As Source Power entered his brain, Li Rui erased the Old Man's memories of him.
After finishing these tasks, Li Rui stood up, dusted off his hands, and used his movement technique to leave the area directly.
To avoid being discovered, Li Rui specifically chose to take secluded paths. The night was dark and windy, and even the sounds of insects and frogs were scarce. Everything felt eerily quiet. Li Rui had a vague sense of unease but couldn't pinpoint anything wrong.

Not far to his east, there was a Mysterious Man in Black also moving through the area!
Li Rui immediately halted, pushing off the ground with force, propelling himself upward. He controlled his body to land on a tree branch. Thanks to the cover of darkness and foliage, the Mysterious Man in Black wouldn't be able to detect him without particularly high cultivation.
Li Rui gradually retracted his perception, minimizing his life fluctuations in hopes that the man wouldn't notice him. From Li Rui's sensing, this Mysterious Man in Black didn't seem to have very high cultivation; at this distance, he should remain undetected.

However, as Li Rui observed the direction in which the man in black was moving, a sudden jolt ran through his heart.

Something big was about to happen!
Without a second thought, Li Rui quickly concealed himself and followed.
The Mysterious Statue was of great importance, and the secrets within it were exactly what he wanted to know. This time, it seemed that he would uncover the mystery of the Mysterious Statue without much effort. With such a good opportunity, he couldn't miss the chance to see what was going on.
Using his agility, Li Rui stealthily trailed behind the Mysterious Man in Black and soon arrived at the site of the Mysterious Statue.
Worried about being exposed, Li Rui retracted his senses and hid in a spot where he could observe the Mysterious Man in Black closely.
From Li Rui's perspective, the Mysterious Man in Black fiddled with the Mysterious Statue for a while, much like Skull. Li Rui didn't notice anything unusual at first, but then saw the Mysterious Man in Black step back a few paces and respectfully kneel before the statue as if he were saying something.
Due to his concern about being discovered, Li Rui kept a distance from the mysterious figure, making it hard for him to hear clearly. He only vaguely caught phrases that sounded like "Big Fish Caught" directed at the Mysterious Statue.
A chill ran down Li Rui's spine, intensifying his sense of unease.
Realizing he couldn't gather any more information without risking exposure, Li Rui quietly left the area.
Was something about to happen?
Feeling anxious, Li Rui changed direction and hurried toward Zhu Yunzhi at his fastest speed. The Mysterious Statue was crucial, especially with this Mysterious Man in Black here mentioning something like "Big Fish Caught."
Is this big fish referring to myself?
But I haven't exposed myself recently! Moreover, I haven't felt anyone stalking or surrounding me lately.
Then, who is this big fish referring to?
If it's not me, then who is it referring to?
And what force is behind the Mysterious Statue?

Li Rui calms his breathing and says solemnly, "I just passed by the Mysterious Statue and saw a mysterious figure in black talking about something related to Big Fish Caught. I was worried they might discover me, so I came to find you."
After hearing Li Rui's words, Zhu Yunzhi furrows his brows tightly, sits down in a chair, and asks, "Is that true?"
"Absolutely!" Li Rui replied affirmatively.
Zhu Yunzhi pondered for a moment and said, "Li Rui, this is an opportunity. If we can take advantage of it, we might be able to uncover the forces behind the Mysterious Statue. What do you think about using this chance to expose their backing?"
Li Rui nodded slightly and said, "I thought of that too. But how are we going to do it? All we know is that there is a force behind the Mysterious Statue, and we don't know anything else! To draw out this force, we need to find something they care about."
Suddenly, Li Rui thought of a place, his eyes lighting up as he looked at Zhu Yunzhi.
In Zhu Yunzhi's eyes, Li Rui saw the answer.
The two of them spoke in unison, "The Mysterious Statue!"
"Haha." Li Rui chuckled a couple of times, patting Zhu Yunzhi on the shoulder, feeling somewhat excited as he said, "Let's go move that Mysterious Statue! I refuse to believe that this Mysterious Statue is so important to this secret force. If we take it away, then no matter what mysterious force or hidden secrets they have, won't everything come to light?"
"Yes, yes." Zhu Yunzhi nodded, equally excited as he said, "Alright, let's do it."
