The summer evenings are always enchanting, with the cicadas chirping softly and the white heat waves diminishing significantly at this time.
"I wonder if there are any watermelons," Li Rui said, wiping his sweat with both hands, his head swaying left and right supported by his hands. A bright full moon hung high in the sky, casting a silver glow from the windowsill. "What bright stars!" "Qing'er, do you know why I called you here?"
Qing'er was dressed casually at this time, wearing a thin silk shirt and a skirt made of green leaves. She appeared confused in response to Li Rui's question.
How could this child be so naive after living in Ammunition's residence for so long? How could she be so dull when working under him? Li Rui looked at her bewildered expression and felt exasperated; upon closer inspection, he realized she was not pretending, which only added to his frustration.

Now that Li Rui had reached a critical point in his breakthrough, he was deep in thought but found no solution. He decided to let himself go and walked up the mountain.
The forest was lush and green, filled with many flowers and plants that Li Rui had never seen or paid attention to before. As he carefully felt the flow of air around him, he was troubled by his inability to break through this final barrier.
This barrier felt like a trench crossing right in front of him, blocking all paths to advancement. Li Rui could only stand on one side of it, swaying as he observed it—unseen and untouchable—making him feel quite uncomfortable.
"Sigh, am I really going to be stuck here for the rest of my life?"
As Li Rui moved through the woods, this time he wasn't in a hurry or focused on a destination; he walked slowly as if taking a normal stroll, advancing gradually—not for anything else but for that inner peace in hopes of breaking through himself and finding a glimmer of miracle.
"Hey? Why do I sense an unusual fluctuation ahead? It feels like a very strong aura."
Li Rui furrowed her brows, feeling inexplicably that this matter was unusual. However, her heart raced uncontrollably, as if urging her to move forward, to step into the site of the disturbance, certain that unexpected results awaited her.
Li Rui was startled.
"What’s going on? Why do I feel this way?"
The intense desire within her constantly reminded and urged Li Rui. She needed to hurry to a place where something she wanted awaited her, a miracle she had longed for.
"Never mind. I, Li Rui, have never been inferior to others. Since fate has destined me to walk this path, I cannot stand still or hesitate. Feeling fear towards an unknown matter is even more dangerous."
Having made up her mind, Li Rui steadied her steps. She changed direction and resolutely moved toward the source of the disturbance.
The sensation of disturbance felt close, yet in reality, Li Rui had been walking for over ten minutes. Why did the disturbance ahead still seem elusive and intangible?
There must be something strange here!
