When Leo entered the training ground, he immediately sensed a tense and focused atmosphere. Bravo Team and Alpha Team were already standing in front of a huge sand table, with a model map marked with different labels and symbols representing valleys, nests, and troop deployments. 0

The leader of Alpha Team, Major General Li, was explaining to his team members how to conduct assaults and feints. His adjutant Mike, standing behind him, was occasionally taking out a data board, drawing or adjusting tactical charts while listening. 0

At the same time, Bravo Team carefully checked their equipment on the side, including each person's tactical vest, firearms, smoke grenades, and hand grenades. 0

When Leo arrived, the three tactical squads of Bravo Team - 'Ghost Sniper', 'wolf pack', and 'Iron Fist' - immediately stood at attention and saluted him. 0

"Report, Captain, Bravo Team is ready!" reported Sergeant Li, the leader of 'Ghost Sniper' team. 0

Leo saluted in response, then asked, "How is each team doing? Any issues that need to be resolved?" 0

Tom waved his hand to indicate that everything was fine, and then said, "Ghost Sniper class is going smoothly. The high ground visibility simulation training has been completed, and the snipers are prepared for long periods of continuous aiming." 0

The leader of 'wolf pack' then continued, "We have simulated close combat and explosive missions multiple times, and everyone is clear about their responsibilities." 0

Finally, the squad leader of 'Iron Fist', Eric, added, "We have specifically trained in bomb installation and defusing, including handling potential emergencies. The explosives and remote controls have undergone multiple tests to ensure no mistakes will occur." 0

Leo nodded, expressing satisfaction with their preparation. "Very well, everyone. The success of this operation will determine our future conflict with Xyphos. Please ensure that each of your missions is executed perfectly." 0

The team members responded unanimously, "Yes, captain!" 0

Leo knew in his heart that no matter how well-prepared they were, there would always be unpredictable variables on the battlefield. But he also knew that only by making all the necessary preparations could they hope to face those unforeseeable challenges. 0

Major Jack walked into the training ground with a slow and deliberate pace that was impossible to ignore. His eyes scanned the area before finally settling on Leo, who was busy inspecting equipment and discussing tactics. 0

"Captain Leo, give me a detailed situation report!" Jack shouted with an authoritative voice. 0

Leo immediately interrupted the discussion with his subordinates, turned around, and walked up to the major, saluting before reporting, "Major, the equipment inspection for Alpha and Bravo Team has been completed. All weapons, protective gear, and communication devices have undergone rigorous testing. In addition, we have simulated various battlefield scenarios, including being surrounded by the enemy and encountering ambushes. All team members are mentally and physically prepared and are looking forward to a successful mission." 0

Upon hearing this, Jack slowly walked around Leo and the central sand table, asking, "Oh, really? Just equipment and simulations, is that enough? What if unexpected situations arise? Do you have a contingency plan?" 0

Leo calmly replied, "Yes, Major. We have developed Plan B and Plan C based on various potential scenarios, including multiple emergency evacuation routes and contact plans for aerial support." 0

Jack furrowed his brow, still seeming unsatisfied. "Backup plans, huh? Have you considered the tactics the enemy might use or their numerical advantage? Or are you just planning to rely on equipment to power through?" 0

Leo remained calm and responded, "Major, we have based our analysis on the latest intelligence and conducted simulated training for the tactics and techniques the enemy may use. Every team member understands that true combat strength comes not only from equipment, but also from the teamwork and cooperation within the team." 0

Jack seemed to have finally found no more faults. He snorted and said, "Well, it seems you have indeed made a lot of preparations. But don't forget, the most dangerous thing on the battlefield is not the enemy, but overconfidence. If there are any mistakes, you are the first one responsible. Understand?" 0

"Understood, Major," Leo saluted again. 0

Jack nodded slightly, seemingly satisfied with his earlier "strict inspection," then turned and leisurely walked out of the training ground. 0

Leo stood there, watching as Major Jack's figure gradually receded into the distance. He felt a bit uneasy, but also understood that this was an unavoidable part of the military culture. Sometimes, in order to prove one's abilities and worth, it was necessary to endure these unreasonable demands and doubts from superiors. 0

He took a deep breath, suppressing all his displeasure, and then returned to his own unit to continue their final preparations for the upcoming mission. In his heart, more important than these minor setbacks was the mission ahead. He couldn't and wouldn't let anything affect their performance. 0

Time seemed to fly by, and in the blink of an eye, it was already 7 o'clock in the evening. Leo glanced at the digital clock hanging on the wall and realized that there was less than an hour left until the operation began at 8 o'clock. He pressed a button on the communicator. 0

"Bravo Team, attention, we have one hour left before the operation begins. I want you to relax for now, make final preparations and adjustments. This will be a tough battle, so getting enough rest is necessary." 0

The team members responded one after another, expressing their understanding and obedience. Although their expressions were as firm as iron, Leo could feel the hidden tension and anticipation deep within. 0

At this moment, the ship's broadcast system transmitted the serious voice of Captain Damian: "All personnel participating in the 'Great Cleanup' operation, please gather at the temporary fortress outside the ship in twenty minutes for our final battle assembly. This is an important operation, and everyone must be fully prepared." 0

Leo bit his lip, and the broadcast made the atmosphere on the entire ship even more tense. He looked at his team, each one busy checking equipment, adjusting weapons, or quickly browsing tactical data on the data board. 0

"Alright, you heard Captain's orders, we have twenty minutes. I don't want to see anyone falling behind when we gather for battle. Bravo Team, move out!" 0

The team members moved quickly like a precision machine, while Leo walked to the side, took out a map that he had checked multiple times, and examined once again the location where the operation was about to take place. He knew deeply that this mission was a huge test for them, as well as an opportunity to prove himself and the value of his team. 0

The second hand of the clock kept ticking, time was running out. But in this final moment, everyone was striving to reach their best state. Because they all knew that the real tough battle was waiting, a battlefield intertwined with life and death, honor and disgrace. 0
