"No need to be polite; since we have accepted Miss Xin's reward, we will naturally do our best," said the two most imposing figures among them. Both were at the Warrior Realm level and had come specifically to deal with the second-level demon beasts in this valley—the same Fire Lizard that Ren Pingsheng encountered.
"Alright then, let's go in!" The group of eleven entered the valley cautiously without making a sound. Their direction was toward the deepest part of the valley. At this moment, they were unaware of what awaited them ahead.
"Bang bang..." The battle between the Ghost-faced Spider and the Fire Lizard grew increasingly intense, with both sustaining injuries. The two second-level demon beasts were truly fighting fiercely now; every time the Fire Lizard's tail struck down, it left deep cracks in the ground. The Ghost-faced Spider relied on its speed to dodge each time but wasn't always so fortunate—especially after losing a leg; its speed was somewhat affected.
"Bang..." The Ghost-faced Spider failed to dodge just once and was sent flying by a swing of the Fire Lizard's tail. A stream of green blood sprayed everywhere as its cries echoed through the air; it was clear that this blow had severely injured it.
