We returned to my rental apartment.

He took the lobster to the counter.

A sharp pain pierced through my heart.
I really wanted to open my eyes and see Gu Zhiming.
But I couldn't do it.

So long that it felt like I had lived an entire lifetime.
When I opened my eyes again, what greeted me was the white ceiling and Gu Zhiming's face.
I opened my mouth and found it hard to make a sound.
"Are you awake?"
Gu Zhiming's eyes lit up instantly.
"Yueyue, you finally woke up!"
I looked at him and struggled to ask, "What... happened to me?"
