"Once, Su Shi was by the river, admiring the beauty of the sunset. Suddenly, he felt a surge of emotions; he thought that although this scenery was beautiful, it also brought a sense of sorrow." 0

"So, he decided to use his poetry to alleviate this sorrow. He wrote: 'A Moment in Spring Night is Worth a Thousand Gold. Flowers Have a Fragrant Scent, the Moon Has Its Shadows. Song and Tower Sounds Softly, Courtyard Swings in the Deep Night.'" 0

Listening to my grandfather's story, I couldn't help but admire the open-mindedness of ancient people. Grandfather continued, "You see, Su Shi used poetry to ease his sorrow. In fact, we can also alleviate our worries by appreciating beautiful scenery." 0

I looked at my grandfather; his eyes were filled with love and expectation for me. I stood quietly by the riverbank, feeling the gentle breeze brush against my cheeks as I watched the sun slowly set. I turned to look at my grandfather; his warm smile made me feel at ease. 0

"Grandpa, I'm feeling a bit sad." A hint of concern flashed in his eyes as he took my hand and pointed to the distant river surface. "Xiao Ran, do you know Meng Haoran?" 0

I nodded; my grandfather had told me his story before. "Meng Haoran once spent a night by the river and wrote a poem called 'Night Stay at Jiande River.'" 0

Grandfather's voice was soft, "Gentle Breeze Creates Ripples. The river is deep and the bamboo is quiet. Bright Moon Shines on People. Stars Hang Low Over the Vast Plain. The Moon Rises Over the Great River. Sandbar Cold Moon, River Path Quiet and Serene." 0

Before my eyes, I seemed to see the scenery described by the poet. The river flowed gently, and the wind rustled through the leaves, creating a soft sound. My heart gradually calmed down, and my worries seemed to dissipate slowly with the story. 0

"The scenery in this poem is just as tranquil and beautiful as what we see now," Grandfather said, looking at me with deep affection. "Xiao Ran, there are many beautiful things in life that we must learn to cherish." 0

"Don't miss out on these beauties because of momentary sorrow." 0
I nodded, feeling a warmth in my heart. 0
Grandpa's stories made me appreciate the charm of nature and gave me a deeper understanding of ancient poets. 0
We lingered by the river for a while, admiring the clear water and watching the moon's reflection shimmer on the surface. 0
I imagined myself as a poet, spending the night alone by the river, gazing at the countless stars and the bright moon, 0
enjoying the beauty of nature. 0
I felt the splendor of nature and also Grandpa's love. 0
"Xiao Ran, look at the moon in the sky; it's so beautiful." 0
I looked up at the sky; the moon had risen overhead, and stars twinkled around it, 0
like countless diamonds shining. 0
"Yes, it really is beautiful." 0
I couldn't help but exclaim, feeling my mood lift. 0
"Xiao Ran, do you know? There are many things in life that we must face bravely. 0
As long as we confront them with courage, we'll find that nothing is truly insurmountable." 0
Grandpa's words made me ponder. 0
I recalled how I once cried from loneliness and homesickness, but now, 0
in front of this beautiful scenery, those negative emotions seemed so trivial. 0
"Xiao Ran, let's make a wish here. May our family be safe and healthy, 0
and may our Xiao Ran face life's challenges with courage." 0
I closed my eyes and made a wish with Grandpa. 0
In that moment, I understood that the meaning of life lies in facing and challenging it bravely, rather than avoiding or denying it. 0
That night, Grandpa and I stayed by the river for a long time, enjoying the gentle breeze on our cheeks, 0
watching the moon reflected in the water, feeling the charm of nature. 0

At the moment I made a wish by the river, I grew to love nature even more and cherished my relationship with my family. I think I will always remember this evening, remember my grandfather's stories, and remember this beautiful riverside. 0
