Dad came to find me carrying two chickens. This was the first time he had taken the initiative to look for me since I left home. 0
"Tingting, come home!" 0
When I was young, every time we killed chickens, the two drumsticks were always given to my sister and brother. I could only eat the chicken head and skin. 0
I grew taller than my peers at a young age and had a big appetite, but Mom always said I was picky and wasted food. In reality, I just wanted to eat the drumsticks from their bowls. They forgot that I was just a child too! 0
"Tingting, your mom is very sad and doesn't know how to explain it to you." 0
"Dad is here to solve the problem." 0
"Just forgive your mom." 0
I smiled and asked, "Dad, have you really forgiven Mom?" 0
"When we were young, you always taught us to be honest and that if we did something wrong, we should be punished." 0
"Mom made a mistake; why don't you punish her? Why do you have to forgive her?" 0
"You always said you were fair to us siblings, but deep down, do you really think you're fair?" 0
"On the surface, it seems like Mom is strict and unreasonable, but you are the one who calls the shots in this family." 0
"Even though you don't say much, you secretly blame me for being ungrateful and not understanding your hardships." 0
"It's been like this since childhood; whenever there was something good to eat or drink at home, it was always divided between my brother and sister, while I got nothing." 0
"You say you're strict with my brother, but deep down, you care for him the most." 0
"You clearly know I've been wronged but pretend not to see it." 0
"Because you're very smart, you know Mom doesn't like me, so you use that to control her for life." 0
"Dad, am I right?" 0
Dad's expression turned grim. 0

He remained silent for a long time before saying, “Tingting, do you have some misunderstanding about Dad?” 0
“Dad is an honest man, not very capable, unlike your mom…” 0
I interrupted him, “Dad, do you know why I’ve been afraid of you since I was little, but not at all afraid of My Mom?” 0
“Because I know you are the one in charge of the family.” 0
“My Mom is only strong on the surface.” 0
“You always look at my bowl first at the dinner table and then frown. You probably don’t realize how frightening your gaze can be.” 0
“I was only six years old at the time. When I saw your expression, I knew I couldn’t eat anymore.” 0
“Because you thought I was being unreasonable and eating too much, which made you unhappy.” 0
Dad smiled bitterly at me, “Tingting, you really misunderstood Dad.” 0
“If Dad were really smart, how could things have turned out this way?” 0
“Dad truly has no way out.” 0
“Dad has never asked for anything in his life; he only wishes for you three siblings to be healthy and safe.” 0
“Dad knows you’re upset, but what grudges can a family hold overnight?” 0
“Your mom knows she’s wrong; can you give her another chance?” 0
I looked at Dad, feeling a chill in my heart. 0
“Dad, do you know that you’re very hypocritical?” 0
“You clearly know Mom made mistakes, yet you pretend not to care.” 0
“You can neither forgive her nor accept me.” 0
“You treat Mom as an outlet for your failed life; you use her mistakes to control her and indirectly control me.” 0
“Dad, you’re really pitiful.” 0
“So please leave here and don’t come looking for me again.” 0
After saying that, I pushed Dad out and slammed the door shut. 0
Even after being thrown out by me, Dad still wore that same old good-natured expression. 0

He had a faint smile on his face. "Tingting, your dad won't be angry with you." 0
"Think it over carefully. Whenever you've made up your mind, you're always welcome to come back." 0
"Although your dad isn't capable, he will never harm his own child." 0
Looking at his hypocritical expression, I finally couldn't hold back and cursed. 0
"Get lost." 0
I closed the door again. 0
This time, I never wanted to see them again. 0
