He Ren covered his face with both hands, looking as if he was about to cry. He Xin glanced at him and, with a blank expression, turned to Yin Luo and said, "Princess, don't listen to He Ren's nonsense. Although it's difficult here, it's not as mysterious as he makes it sound. As long as you hold your breath and concentrate, and dodge in time, they won't be able to hurt you. Each of these men in black can only strike three times; once you evade all their attacks, they won't launch another. In fact, this Training Ground is meant to train your physical strength, mental acuity, and agility!"
"We have been by the Prince's side for years as personal guards, so our martial arts skills and physical condition must always be at their best. Therefore, we come here to practice from time to time. Your skills have already been witnessed by my subordinates; with your exceptional insight, perhaps you can make it through."
Yin Luo lightly curled her lips into a smile but did not respond.
There were still protective measures in place. He Xin provided her with Wrist Guards, Knee Pads, and a Heart Shield. Since this was just the Training Ground—essentially a place for their own people—the individuals inside would strike without mercy but would not deal fatal blows. They would avoid hitting any vital areas.
Especially since Yin Luo was their master, they naturally did their best to ensure she wouldn't get hurt.
However, when it was time to enter, Yin Luo suggested that they go in first while she entered last.
He Xin hesitated a bit, but He Ren blurted out, "Princess, are you scared? If you're afraid, it's okay; just go back and soften up to the Prince. He definitely won't hold it against you!"
Yin Luo gave him a faint glance before turning her gaze toward the entrance of the Training Ground. "No need; you two go ahead. I need to prepare."
Seeing her insistence, He Xin finally stopped pressing her and pulled He Ren along, dragging him inside.
Once the two left, Yin Luo pondered for a moment before tearing a strip of black cloth from her clothing and covering her eyes with it. After feeling around carefully for a moment, she slowly walked toward the entrance.
As soon as she stepped inside, she heard the sounds of fighting echoing within.
With her eyes covered, her hearing became exceptionally sharp. Before she could grasp the situation, a sudden scream pierced through the air, unmistakably coming from He Ren.
"Damn it, don't hit my face... Ah! I told you not to hit my face..."
On the other side, the sounds of fighting were much more rhythmic. Yin Luo silently took note in her mind and stepped forward without hesitation, maintaining her composure.
A gust of wind rushed in from the right side, while there were also attacks coming from behind and the left, with people striking at her from almost every direction. Without hesitation, she lowered her body and suddenly slipped across the ground like a fish. However, several feet blocked her path. She quickly leaped up and, with incredible speed, hooked her leg around the neck of the nearest person. With a powerful push, she propelled herself forward for several meters. As she landed, someone swung a fist toward her chest. To avoid it, she instinctively raised her hand to block. In her previous life, such force might not have harmed her, but unfortunately, her current body was not what it used to be. Even though she had been secretly training, it couldn't compare to these skilled fighters!
With a loud "bang," a piercing pain shot through her as she was knocked to the ground, especially as one of her arms dislocated.
Cold sweat dripped down her body. Without a moment's hesitation, she rolled over and quickly leaped to a corner. Not daring to delay, she gathered strength in her left hand and swiftly gripped her broken arm to set it back in place.
Pain! That was the only sensation. She took a deep breath and felt another gust of wind approaching her face. Without delay, she slapped her left hand on the ground and leaped backward, using her foot to counter the force coming toward her face.
As an aside:
Well... our Luoluo can't handle this, so... we need to come up with a plan!
