On one side, Yao Chenzi lightly waved his folding fan and stepped forward, his gaze sweeping over Jun Moyu. He calmly asked, "Is the prince injured?"
Jun Moyu shook his head. "Fortunately, the gentleman reacted in time."
Yao Chenzi smiled and said, "I didn't expect that this woman would be so formidable. The drug in the tea was clearly colorless and tasteless, but I wonder how she managed to see through it?"
Jun Moyu narrowed his eyes, recalling how she had splashed the tea on his face. His voice turned harsh as he said, "If she falls into my hands, I will make sure she pays for it!"
Yao Chenzi glanced at his clenched fist and appeared to be deep in thought. "These two women are mysterious; they are clearly women yet dress as men and keep avoiding us, as if they have some untold secret. Especially the one wearing a mask—despite covering half her face, her beauty is still hard to conceal. Who exactly are they?"
Jun Moyu revealed a confident smile. "No matter who they are, as long as I have my eyes on them, they won't be able to escape."
"Sir," he called to Yao Chenzi behind him.
Yao Chenzi looked at him and asked, "What does the prince command?"
"Their accents are not local, and judging by their appearance, they are merely passing through here. Have someone check all the inns in the city; I don't believe we can't find them. Also, using your identity as an envoy from an allied nation, go greet the governor here and say that two maids from my residence have gone missing. To prevent them from being taken by ill-intentioned people, the city gates must be thoroughly checked in the coming days; we cannot let them slip away."
Yao Chenzi smiled slightly. "This plan of yours is brilliant, my prince. In this way, those two women will likely come knocking at our door."
Jun Moyu wore a triumphant smile. "I want them to come to me personally!"

The two returned to the inn and wasted no time; Yin Luo instructed Qin Liuyan to pack their things immediately so they could leave together.
However, upon reaching the city gate, they found a notice posted that clearly described them as wanted individuals.
Reluctantly, they had to return to the inn. Seeing Yin Luo deep in thought, Qin Liuyan couldn't help but say, "Princess, that young man named Jun seems to be a significant figure. Now that we are trapped in this town and unable to leave, what should we do?"
Yin Luo supported her forehead and, upon hearing this, glanced at her, withdrew her hand, lazily leaned back against the chair, closed her eyes, and said, "Their move is merely to force us to take the initiative. It seems they must have a clear grasp of our movements; perhaps they have already uncovered our identities."
Qin Liu Yan's expression changed: "If that's the case, aren't we in great danger?"
Yin Luo opened her eyes and suddenly fixed her gaze: "It seems we have no choice but to pay them a visit."

The night wind was a bit chilly. On the dark street, two women walked one after the other. The woman in front carried a lantern and wore a black long robe that made her face appear somewhat stern. Following her was a woman named Su Yi, who wore a black cloak over her attire, concealing her face within the hood. Although it was hard to see clearly, her posture and manner of walking suggested that she was certainly not an ordinary beauty.
They arrived outside a small courtyard. The woman in front knocked on the door, and after a moment, it opened. It was unclear what the two discussed, but soon after, several torches were lit at the entrance, and the people inside respectfully invited them in.
Inside was an elegantly arranged courtyard with willows planted throughout. On this spring day, a gentle breeze rustled the willow branches, creating a soothing sound that added to the serene atmosphere.
"Please come this way, ladies; our master will arrive shortly," said one of the attendants.
Qin Liu Yan nodded and followed Yin Luo as they entered a room filled with fragrant smoke.
The room was brightly lit, and even the incense had a light floral scent—something women typically favored.
Yin Luo glanced around at the room's decor and suddenly smiled.
Qin Liu Yan looked at her in confusion as Yin Luo pointed to the couch: "Look at that; this room seems specially prepared for us."
Qin Liu Yan was taken aback. Following her gaze inside, she noticed there were indeed two couches set up with new bedding neatly arranged. She was startled and turned to Yin Luo: "Does this mean we have come without a way back?"
Yin Luo sat down by a redwood square table, extended her delicate hand to flick the candle wick where flames danced: "Not necessarily."
As soon as she spoke, the door was pushed open from outside. Jun Moyu entered wearing an indigo-colored luxurious outfit. His hair was as black as a crow and meticulously tied atop his head with an ink jade hairpin. A piece of fine white jade adorned his waist, complemented by matching cloud-patterned boots he wore that day. He appeared handsome and extraordinary.
Yin Luo tilted her head to glance at him and smiled: "Young Master Jun, may I ask why you have prevented us from leaving the city?"
Upon first seeing her true appearance, Jun Moyu's eyes brightened, and his breath momentarily stilled.
He had naturally guessed that this woman's looks would not be lacking, but he did not expect her to be so captivatingly beautiful, especially that smile, which was almost imperceptible, carrying a calmness as if she understood everything, her gaze as cold as water, as if she had never regarded him at all.
Jun Moyu felt his interest piqued even more. He waved his hand to dismiss the servants and sat down on the stool opposite Yin Luo, saying, "That day, Miss Yin did not wait for my apology before leaving. I truly felt uneasy about it, which is why I took the liberty of inviting you to come again. I hope you won't mind."
Yin Luo immediately smiled, "Indeed, Young Master Jun's way of inviting people is quite unique. The first time was by drugging the tea, and this time..." She looked around and said, "Is it imprisonment?"
Jun Moyu paused for a moment and then burst into laughter.
His voice was cheerful, as if he had encountered something truly delightful. Finally, he fixed his gaze on Yin Luo and said, "I, Jun Moyu, have lived for over twenty years and have never seen a woman as perceptive as you. Miss Yin truly deserves my utmost admiration."
"Jun Moyu?" Yin Luo narrowed her eyes slightly. "Xiyu King Huai."
It was not a question but a statement. Jun Moyu's eyes brightened even more: "Oh? You know who I am?"
With a swish, just as Jun Moyu finished speaking, a long sword was suddenly pressed against his neck—Qin Liujuan had drawn her sword in time and held it at his throat.
Jun Moyu's expression remained unchanged; he merely looked at Yin Luo as if asking her what this meant.
Yin Luo took a sip of the tea in front of her and said, "Your Highness King Huai, we are strangers to each other. Even if there were past grievances, today I would not threaten your interests in the slightest. In the future, it will be even less likely. If I have indeed done something that displeased you before, I hope Your Highness can overlook it and spare me this once. How about it?"
Jun Moyu's gaze fell on her calm and composed face: "So you're saying you're threatening me?"
"I wouldn't dare to threaten," Yin Luo signaled Qin Liujuan with her eyes to lower the sword. "My maid can be a bit reckless; however, she is always sensitive and reacts promptly when I am in danger. Today, she likely sensed my peril and reacted quickly. I hope Your Highness won't take offense."
Jun Moyu looked at her; this young woman spoke with layers of meaning in every sentence. He smirked slightly: "What if I refuse to let go?"
Yin Luo furrowed her brows and turned the teacup: "Your Highness should take a whiff; is there any difference between the incense in this room and what you usually use?"
Jun Moyu was taken aback, his movements clearly pausing: "What have you done?"
"I didn't do anything, I just added something to the original spice," Yin Luo said as she raised her gaze. "I only wanted to borrow the Prince's token for a moment. Once we leave this City Gate, if I offend you, I hope the Prince can forgive me. As for the antidote, rest assured, I will hand it over to the Prince after obtaining the token and will not harm the Prince in any way."
Jun Moyu opened his mouth but suddenly found himself unable to speak, and he abruptly stood up.
However, just as he stood up, he had to sit back down again, staring at Yin Luo, unable to say a word.
Yin Luo gestured to Qin Liu Yan, who immediately stepped forward and began searching Jun Moyu. Jun Moyu's eyes widened, his face flushed red, unsure whether it was from anger or embarrassment.
Finally, Qin Liu Yan retrieved a palm-sized token from Jun Moyu's embrace. Yin Luo relaxed her brow, stood up, and bowed slightly to Jun Moyu, saying, "I apologize for offending the Prince!"
She then stepped forward and directly pulled out a dagger from her pocket, pressing it against Jun Moyu's neck while signaling to Qin Liu Yan.
Qin Liu Yan went to open the door. At the entrance were Chen An and Li Mu. Seeing Jun Moyu being threatened with a dagger, their expressions changed instantly as they urgently called out, "Prince!"
Yin Luo turned to them and said, "I have no intention of harming your Prince. Prepare two swift horses; once we leave, I will release your Prince."
Jun Moyu's neck turned red with anger but he was helpless. Chen An and Li Mu exchanged glances and dared not delay; they could only comply with her request.
