Arya just finished announcing the exam rules, and the surrounding examinees immediately stood up and raised the crystal balls in their hands. A dense magical atmosphere filled the entire room, and everyone was focused like trainees, preparing to guide their own magic power into the practice field.
Wei Dong and God Tone, however, sat stiffly, exchanging an awkward glance. Their hands were empty, as if they had arrived at a gaming competition but forgotten to bring their computers. The two of them suddenly felt a profound sense of powerlessness, and with the tense atmosphere of the surrounding examinees, this feeling became even heavier.
At that moment, a voice pierced the silence, "Haha, look at these two gentlemen, coming to take the exam but forgetting to bring their tools? Where did these refugees come from?" A young man, Sai Yi, stood not far away, holding a delicate crystal ball in his hand, his eyes full of mockery.
He looked at Wei Dong and God Tone's attire and continued to taunt, "Oh, look at your appearance, you must be from some backward tribe, right? So primitive, and yet you want to become a Summoner? Learn to dress first!"
The atmosphere suddenly became tense to the extreme. Wei Dong clenched his fists, his anger rising, ready to explode.
At that moment, Arya walked over, glanced at Sai Yi, and coldly said, "Sai Yi, this is an examination hall, not a stage for your mocking art. Please go and prepare for your exam and do not disturb other candidates."
Sai Yi snorted coldly, but dared not say more. He turned and walked away, but before leaving, he couldn't help but sneer, "It's unbelievable that even refugees can come to this exam. It seems that the standards are really getting lower."
Arya smiled slightly, turned around to look at Wei Dong and God Tone. She noticed that both of them looked slightly nervous, as if at a loss.
"Are you guys without a crystal ball?" Arya asked, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes.
Wei Dong and God Tone were both a little stunned by this sudden question. In the real world, they spent most of their time at home, with very few opportunities to interact with the opposite sex. They were both at a loss for how to respond to Arya's question, and their words came out a bit unclear.
"Um, well, the crystal ball is..." Wei Dong started to speak, but was interrupted by God Tone before he could finish his sentence.
"We are, um, new here. So we're not very clear about this..." God Tone tried to ease the awkwardness, but still spoke with obvious nervousness.
Arya noticed the discomfort of The Two Brothers but did not say much. She just smiled slightly and then took out two sparkling crystal balls from her bosom.
"Don't worry, these are crystal balls used to control the heroes you summon," Arya explained as she handed the crystal balls to Wei Dong and God Tone.
"You just need to channel your magic into the crystal ball, then imagine what you want the hero to do. The crystal ball will automatically transform your thoughts into commands and convey them to the hero," she demonstrated how to operate, lightly touching the crystal ball, and magic naturally flowed into it.
Wei Dong and God Tone watched Arya's smooth operation, and couldn't help but feel a hint of respect. Although they were still unfamiliar with this new world, they also understood that Arya's skill in this area was definitely extraordinary.
"Thank you, we will practice hard," Wei Dong sincerely expressed his gratitude, and God Tone nodded in agreement.
Arya simply smiled and nodded, but in her heart, she was wondering: these Two Brothers clearly did not come from here; how did they enter the Summoner assessment? But no matter what, since they had arrived here, they had to adapt to the rules of this world.
"Okay, you guys go ahead and practice first. If you have any questions, you can find me at any time." Arya cheered the two on and then slowly walked away, still thinking about what kind of performance this mysterious brotherhood would show in the assessment.
Wei Dong and God Tone stood in the spacious arena, each holding a crystal ball in their hands. These crystal balls were the interface between them and the characters they summoned, as well as the medium for magic transmission.
Wei Dong's eyes were firm as he tightly grasped the crystal ball, focusing on channeling his magic into it. He felt like a commander, standing at the forefront of the battlefield, where every decision could impact the entire outcome of the battle. His character reflected his intentions, holding a sword and shield, standing on the battlefield, engaging virtual enemies without hesitation.
"I feel like there are a lot of similarities between this and playing League of Legends," Wei Dong quietly said to God Tone. "But this is more intuitive, more free. I can control the character to make more detailed movements, such as the angle of the sword, the position of the shield, and so on."
God Tone had a relaxed and comfortable demeanor, as if everything was under his control. His role seemed more like that of a skillful dancer, gracefully maneuvering through the battlefield, avoiding enemy attacks.
"I feel like this is a more advanced game controller," God Tone responded with a smile. "With just some basic thoughts and gestures, I can make the character perform various actions. Look, I can even make him do a backflip!"
God ToneWith a thought, his character somersaulted in the air and landed to defeat a virtual enemy.
"You always like to show off fancy moves," Wei Dong smiled and shook his head, "but this is not just a game. We have goals and responsibilities here. We must learn how to use these abilities more effectively."
God Tone smiled and said, "Being serious is not a bad thing, but we also need to learn to enjoy it all. Since this place allows us to control everything with our minds, we should make full use of it."
Wei Dong took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, relaxing. He looked at God Tone and thought that maybe his brother was right. In this new world, they had unprecedented freedom and possibilities.
"Okay, I admit, this is really cool," Wei Dong finally said.
God Tone happily patted his shoulder, "See, I knew you would like it."
The two once again turned their gaze to the crystal ball, continuing to practice and explore. They knew that in this world composed of magic and intention, they could exert even more precise control. This was not just a game, but a part of their new life, filled with endless possibilities and challenges.
