Arya glanced at the large clock hanging on the edge of the examination hall, the hands pointing directly at three o'clock in the afternoon. She took a deep breath and turned to walk towards the position of Chief examiner Randall. Randall was flipping through a thick leather-bound manual, seemingly cross-referencing some information.
"Mr. Randall, it's almost time. We are about to enter the second stage of the assessment, which is the reinforcement test," Arya reported.
Randall slowly closed the booklet in his hand, raised his head, and looked around sharply. "How many candidates are left now?" he asked slowly.
"According to the recent statistics, there are still two hundred and twenty-one candidates present," Arya replied.
Randall nodded, seemingly unsurprised by the number. "Hmm, in that case, there will probably be around thirty people left to enter the third stage of the test."
"Based on past experience, that should be the case," agreed Arya.
Then, she seemed a little hesitant, but still spoke, "However, there are two candidates who are particularly noteworthy, and they are Wei Dong and God Tone."
Randall was slightly surprised, "Oh? What makes them special?"
"First of all, their magical power and control abilities are outstanding, almost like a Professional Summoner. But more importantly, the enormous amount of magic they emit is abnormal, almost exceeding several times that of the average candidate."
"That's not the strangest part," Arya continued, "the most surprising thing is that we have not seen or heard of them anywhere. Logically, such a huge magical power and excellent control skills should have attracted attention and news from all sides a long time ago, but they seem to have suddenly emerged out of nowhere."
Randall listened and his gaze became even deeper. "This is indeed very unusual. I will have the intelligence department investigate further. Thank you for your report, Arya."
"You're welcome, Mr. Randall. I am also very curious to know who they are and why they are here." After saying this, Arya smiled slightly, turned and went back to her position, filled with anticipation and curiosity for the upcoming second stage assessment.
Randall looked at Arya's back, his eyes filled with complex emotions. He felt somewhat uneasy, but also full of curiosity and excitement. He wanted to see how far these two mysterious brothers could go, and whether they could bring some unexpected surprises to this world.
When Chief examiner Randall stood up and clapped his hands, the whole arena seemed to be enveloped by an invisible force, instantly restoring silence. His dignity made even the most unruly candidates dare not make a sound.
"Dear candidates, we are about to enter the second stage: the reinforcement test," Randall's voice echoed throughout the space, rushing towards everyone's ears like waves of tide, "I hope you all will now enter Summoner's Rift and summon the hero Ashe. This will be a comprehensive assessment of your tactics and reactions."
Wei Dong and God Tone exchanged a meaningful glance. Wei Dong thought that this kind of test was relatively simple for him, but he couldn't take it lightly. He could feel that God Tone was also excited, which was a good opportunity for him, as he loved challenges.
Randall continued, "In the next ten minutes, you need to make sure you can eat a hundred soldiers. Remember, not one more, not one less. Otherwise, you will not qualify for the third stage of the test."
This statement made Wei Dong even more focused. He knew that even a small mistake could affect the outcome of the entire test, especially in such a highly competitive environment.
Test-takers began to connect magic orbs, each one seeming to be sucked into a huge vortex and disappearing into the arena. As Wei Dong entered Summoner's Rift, he glanced at Sai Yi. He noticed Sai Yi was sneering, as if he was disdainful of this test.
"That guy seems ready to show off," Wei Dong thought to himself.
He clenched his fist, silently reminding himself that this exam was not just about him and God Tone, but also about other equally outstanding opponents. He couldn't afford to lose this rare opportunity due to momentary pride or negligence.
Wei Dong entered the hero selection page and almost without hesitation chose Ashe. The screen shifted, and he appeared in Summoner's Rift, with the other side of the screen displaying a detailed map and the approaching battle lines. Suddenly, his younger brother, God Tone, let out a scream.
"What happened?!" Wei Dong asked nervously, wondering if his younger brother had encountered a fatal error that prevented him from entering.
"Bro, you know what, I had the elite project's look before, it was super cool! The look had a futuristic mask and could even summon drones," God Tone said discontentedly.
"That... we are in the assessment now, this is not a normal gaming environment. The appearance doesn't matter, right." Wei Dong tried to redirect his brother's attention back to the assessment itself.
"No, bro, you don't understand. That appearance makes it easier to execute A moves smoothly, it's a tactical choice!" God Tone seemed to have found a valid reason for his argument.
Wei Dong I touched my forehead. My little brother's mischievous nature sometimes really makes people laugh and cry. "Alright, alright, after the exam, I'll take you to get a new haircut, okay?"
God Tone Instantly laughed and started twisting his body, with one hand up and the other down, swaying back and forth, imitating the dance moves of certain characters in the game. "Buddha's Heart Company, Buddha's Heart Company!"
Wei Dong smiled. Sometimes, his younger brother's humor and mischief were a source of inspiration. He turned his head and focused on the screen. The battle on Summoner's Rift was about to begin, and he couldn't afford to be distracted by these little incidents. He knew that he and his brother needed to cooperate seamlessly to win in this assessment.
God Tone also finally put away his playful mood and looked at Wei Dong seriously, nodding. Both of them understood that even in this world full of unknowns and surprises, the bond and cooperation between the two brothers remained the most reliable force.
