The Emperor's affection for the singer had returned to its former glory, and the singer's mood had improved significantly. After listening to my father's story, I gained a deeper understanding of the emotions expressed in poetry. The singer's plight evoked sympathy, but it also reflected the cruelty and complexity of court life. As I listened to my father's tale, I seemed to see that resplendent palace and the beautiful singer. 0

Moonlight bathed her as she danced gracefully, her figure light and incredibly beautiful. Her dance won the admiration of many and touched my heart. "Father, was that singer really beautiful?" I asked. "Yes, she was beautiful, and her movements were very elegant," he replied. "I really want to see her dance." "Chang'er, you will see," my father said, looking at me with eyes full of expectation. I knew he hoped I would become a great poet and write more beautiful verses. 0

I took his words to heart and decided that one day I must witness the dancer's performance with my own eyes. Time passed quickly, and years later, I found myself once again outside the palace. It was late at night; the bright moon hung high in the sky, and stars twinkled. The palace was ablaze with lights, music filled the air, and festivities were in full swing. I knew that the Emperor was hosting another banquet that night. 0

I circled around the palace and entered the garden. The peach blossoms were still in full bloom, but they were even more abundant than a few years ago. Standing beneath the peach tree, gazing at the blooming flowers, my thoughts were endless. "Last night's wind opened the dew-laden peach blossoms; Weiyang Palace's moon is high." I softly recited Wang Changling's lines, filled with emotion. The scene described in the poem seemed to be right before me, yet I could not see it. 0

"How wonderful it would be to witness it with my own eyes!" I thought to myself. "You will see," a voice echoed in my ear. Turning around, I saw an old man standing there. 0

He was dressed in official robes and wore an official hat, looking very imposing. 0
"Who are you?" 0
"I am an official from the palace." 0
"What are you doing here?" 0
"I heard your poetry recitation and came to take a look." 0
"My poetry recitation?" 0
"Yes, you recite beautifully." 0
"Thank you." 0
"Do you want to see the scenes described in the poem?" 0
"Of course I do!" 0
"Then follow me." 0
I followed the old man to the back of the palace and looked inside through a window. 0
The palace was brightly lit, filled with singing and dancing. 0
The Emperor sat in the center, surrounded by a group of beautiful palace maids. 0
In the midst of the maids was a singer dressed in a long gown. 0
She was dancing gracefully, her movements elegant and dreamlike. 0
Her beauty and dance astonished me; I had never seen such a beautiful woman before. 0
She looked like a fairy sent from heaven, pleasing to the eye. 0
"Is she the singer?" 0
"Yes, she is the singer." 0
"Her dance is so beautiful!" 0
"She is the best dancer in the palace." 0
"I really wish I could get closer to her and see her dance clearly." 0
"You will." 0
I gazed at her foolishly, completely entranced. 0
Her dance made me feel the emotions described in the poetry; that wonderful feeling was beyond words. 0
"If only I could meet her!" I thought to myself. 0

"You will meet her." 0
The old man's voice echoed in my ears once again. 0
"Really?" 0
"Yes, as long as you are willing, you can meet her." 0
"I am willing," I said firmly. 0
The old man smiled and nodded, then disappeared. 0
I stared blankly at the singer in the palace, my heart filled with anticipation. 0
I didn't know when I had started to cry. 0
I was unsure how long I had been lost in thought before I came back to reality. 0
At that moment, the moon had already set, and the east was beginning to lighten. 0
I wiped away my tears and turned to walk home. 0
On the way, I kept thinking about the verses from "Spring Palace Melody," constantly reflecting on the emotions in the story. 0
I thought of the singer's dance, her beauty, and her feelings. 0
I also thought about my own life and my own pursuits. 0
Suddenly, I realized that I wanted to become someone like a poet. 0
I wanted to learn to appreciate every bit of beauty in life and express my emotions through poetry. 0
I wanted to have an inner world as rich and beautiful as that of the singer. 0
This realization opened my mind; it felt as if I could see the direction of my life clearly. 0
I was determined to pursue the realm of poetry and emotion, to become someone like a poet. 0
I wanted to use poetry to convey my feelings and share them with the world. 0
From then on, I embarked on the path of poetry, striving to grasp its true essence. 0
I also want to thank that singer; she helped me understand the truth of life and find my own pursuit. 0
I also want to thank that old man; he gave me the opportunity to see the scenes described in poetry. 0
