The automatic protection system had long been activated, wrapping the entire experimental tank in iron bars.
Xu Qingyuan opened the hatch, and the water rushing in quickly reached his waist.
He struggled to move forward but found his progress too slow. Xu Qingyuan decided to take off his life jacket and plunged into the water, swimming directly ahead.

The atmosphere became tense. The thunder roared deafeningly, and there was no sign of the storm letting up. However, the swaying of the ship grew less intense; they seemed to be gradually moving away from the center of the storm.
Yang Luo's ecstatic voice suddenly rang out, excitedly shouting, "It's an island! There's land ahead; we've arrived!"

Xu Qingyuan snorted coldly: "You choose—go down with the ship or come with us."
The complaining man fell silent. After Xu Qingyuan's ultimatum, some people began tying ropes around themselves and those next to them. Seeing everyone’s actions, the man obediently shut up and started to follow suit.
He Shuo reached out and handed over the rope. Xu Qingyuan glanced at it and tied it around himself.
