Everything waits in silence... until night gives way to dawn!
The tranquil night, though long, always has its end. The moon, which hung in the sky all night, quietly descends, and a gentle breeze sweeps through the forest, as if whispering the arrival of daylight. When the first rays of morning light rise in the east, all things that had been silent in the dark night are finally awakened with the vitality of life. From this moment on, the creatures that belong solely to the night will continue to lie in wait, and they will become the rulers of this Primeval Continent!
As the sunlight gradually brightens, the morning mist rising in the forest dissipates... When the birds in the woods clear their throats and emit the first chirps of the day, a stir finally arises in this Primeval Forest. The commotion initially starts at the forest's edge, seemingly coming from all directions. Eventually, it converges into the depths of the forest, heading towards the river at its core—there lies their destination!
When this stir finally reached Qian Mo's ears as he sat cross-legged on the ground, he opened his eyes that had been closed in meditation, clenched his fist, feeling once again the abundant strength after a night of hard work. Although somewhat tense, he felt excited!
"Bai Feng, Bai Fong, get ready; it's time for you to show your acting skills! Whether you can win an Oscar... I mean whether you can fool this group of beasts depends on you. Show some spirit as members of the human race!"
"Yes, senior! No problem, senior! Understood, senior!"
The sounds in the forest were growing louder.
Qian Mo stood by the river with Bai Feng and Bai Fong, looking at the swirling dust around them; he could already hear countless chaotic noises—like thousands of beasts galloping or hundreds of birds singing together.
As the dust raised by the forest drew closer, finally, the first army of beasts responding to Bai Xu's call appeared before the three!
It was a group of snow-white beasts! They had four limbs that were long and powerful with sharp claws capable of splitting mountains and shattering rocks. Their elegant and elongated bodies could crawl or stand upright on their front limbs. Each beast was about two meters long, with heads resembling those of ferrets. Their eyes were narrow and lively with black pupils; they had small red noses and whiskers beneath their snouts, adorned with purple markings that added to their eerie beauty while showcasing their immense power and noble status.
These snow-white and elegantly sinister beasts charged out of the woods before the three; there were about dozens of them, each over two meters long, with one leading beast measuring over three meters. It seemed there were even more of their kin hidden within the forest. Peering through the trees' cover, Qian Mo tried to look further but found it endless—there must be at least thousands more, albeit slightly smaller than these few dozen. Nevertheless, it was still a formidable force.
Bai Feng stepped forward and waved a military token in front of the leader of the snow-white beasts. The leader nodded and let out a loud yet sharp short call; then, the beast group retreated into the woods while only it remained beside Bai Feng, seemingly communicating through some method unknown to others.
During this time, Bai Fong hurriedly explained to Qian Mo, who seemed somewhat dazed about these snow-white beasts' origins.
"Senior, these are from the Cloud Demon Ferret Clan; they were the first group subdued by Uncle Bai Xu when he arrived here! Therefore, they are also one of the most loyal races to Uncle Bai Xu, completely following his orders as their highest principle. Anyone who possesses Uncle Bai Xu's military token will unhesitatingly obey his commands; thus they won't look down on our human race like other arrogant clans do—this saves us a lot of trouble."
