"What secret?" Lin Ke'er pressed, feeling that she was getting closer to the truth, yet overwhelmed with fear.
"Your existence is tied to the safety of the entire world..." Old Li said, each word heavy with meaning.
"What?!" Lin Ke'er and Xiao Tian exclaimed in unison, staring at Old Li in disbelief, as if they were hearing a fantastical tale.
Ignoring their shock, Old Li continued, "You are..." He paused again, seemingly struggling with his final words.
"What is it?" Xiao Tian couldn't help but ask.
Old Li closed his eyes, as if summoning all his strength, and squeezed out a few words through clenched teeth: "You are... the mastermind... the key figure... in the ultimate goal..."
This statement detonated like a bomb in the hearts of Lin Ke'er and Xiao Tian, leaving them speechless as they stared at Old Li, momentarily at a loss for words.
After delivering this revelation, Old Li appeared utterly drained, collapsing onto the ground and gasping for breath.
Xiao Tian and Lin Ke'er then realized they had been blinded by appearances; the true enemy was hidden deeper than they had thought, and everything they had done was merely serving someone else's agenda.
"How could this be..." Lin Ke'er slumped helplessly into Xiao Tian's arms, her eyes filled with despair and helplessness.
Xiao Tian held Lin Ke'er tightly, his heart brimming with anger and frustration. He looked up at Old Detective and Old Li, his gaze resolute as he said, "Tell me, what should we do?"
Old Detective and Old Li exchanged a glance, a flicker of determination passing between them. They knew that a greater conspiracy was about to surface, and they had to join forces to completely dismantle the plans of the mastermind...

Old Detective sighed deeply and slowly walked to the window, his aged silhouette elongated by the setting sun. "Child, do you believe that there are forces in this world that transcend our understanding?" Old Detective did not turn around; his voice was low and distant, as if he were speaking to himself.
Xiao Tian frowned slightly, sensing that what Old Detective was about to say was extraordinary. He turned to Lin Ke'er and noticed the confusion and unease in her eyes; she clearly struggled to understand Old Detective's words.
Meng Shaohui, who had previously been nonchalant, now wore a serious expression. "Old Detective, stop beating around the bush and just tell us what’s going on," he urged.
Old Detective turned around, his murky eyes sparkling with wisdom. He fixed his gaze on Lin Ke'er and slowly said, "Child, you possess a special bloodline that flows within you. This bloodline..." He paused, seemingly choosing his words carefully. "This bloodline contains an immense energy that is unimaginable to ordinary people. The mastermind behind this is coveting that power and intends to use you for their nefarious purposes."
"Special bloodline? Immense energy?" Lin Ke'er murmured, unable to connect those words to herself. "How... how can this be? I'm just an ordinary girl!"
Old Li walked over to Lin Ke'er and gently patted her shoulder, speaking in a soothing tone. "Child, you are not ordinary. Your existence affects the fate of many people, even... the safety of the entire world."
Lin Ke'er shook her head in disbelief; everything felt too surreal for her. She felt as if she had been swept into a massive whirlpool, unable to control her own destiny.
"Old Li is right," Old Detective continued. "The mastermind is part of an extremely large organization that operates from the shadows, manipulating various levels of society, with even government officials involved. Their goal is to exploit the power of your bloodline to open a gateway to another world, thereby gaining endless power and wealth."
"Another world?" Xiao Tian's brow furrowed. Although he had anticipated this, hearing Old Detective confirm it stirred up a storm within him.
Old Detective nodded gravely. "Yes, a world filled with unknowns and dangers. If they succeed, the consequences will be unimaginable."
"What... what should we do?" Lin Ke'er asked, her voice trembling slightly. Though frightened, she forced herself to remain calm; she knew she could not back down or run away.
Old Detective stepped into the center of the room, his gaze sweeping over Xiao Tian, Lin Ke'er, and Meng Shaohui as he spoke firmly. "We must stop them! Protecting Lin Ke'er and helping her awaken her bloodline power is our only option!"
"Awaken my bloodline power?" Lin Ke'er asked in confusion. "But... how do I do that?"
Old Li took out an ancient jade pendant from his pocket and handed it to Lin Ke'er, saying, "Child, this pendant was left to you by your mother. It can help you awaken your bloodline power."
Lin Ke'er took the pendant, feeling its coldness in her hand. A strange energy surged into her body through her palm, causing her heart to race. She looked up, her eyes filled with determination and resolve, and said, "I will work hard!"
Xiao Tian walked over to Lin Ke'er and gently held her hand, speaking softly yet firmly, "Don't be afraid; we will protect you."
Lin Ke'er tightened her grip on Xiao Tian's hand, her eyes filled with gratitude and trust.
The atmosphere in the room grew tense as a battle between good and evil was about to unfold. They would face unprecedented challenges, but they held onto a single belief: to uphold justice and defeat evil!

Lin Ke'er clutched the pendant tightly in her palm, feeling the coolness emanating from it as her gaze gradually became resolute.
"Old Li, please teach me how I can awaken my bloodline power!" Lin Ke'er asked eagerly, a hint of urgency in her tone. She desperately wanted to gain strength to protect herself and those around her.
Old Li looked at Lin Keer's anxious expression and smiled gently, his eyes filled with love and encouragement. "Child, don't rush. Awakening your bloodline power takes time; being overly eager can backfire."
He paused for a moment and pulled out a yellowed ancient book from his pocket, handing it to Lin Ke'er. "This book contains the methods for awakening your bloodline power. Follow the instructions inside and practice; Old Detective and I will guide you along the way."
Lin Ke'er took the ancient book and opened the first page, which was densely filled with ancient characters and patterns that she could not understand at all.
"What is this writing? I don't recognize any of it," Lin Ke'er said, furrowing her brows as she looked at the unfamiliar characters, filled with confusion.
"This is ancient script; of course, you wouldn't recognize it," Old Detective explained from the side. "But don't worry, Old Li and I will teach you."
In the following days, Lin Ke'er began to learn the contents of the ancient texts under the guidance of Old Li and Old Detective, attempting to practice the methods described in the books.
Xiao Tian and Meng Shaohui were responsible for ensuring Lin Keer's safety while gathering clues about the mastermind behind it all.
"Ke'er, take a break; you've been practicing for a long time," Meng Shaohui said gently, watching Lin Ke'er, who was drenched in sweat. "Even if you want to awaken your bloodline power, you need to rest."
"I'm fine; I feel like I'm close to getting it," Lin Ke'er replied, wiping the sweat from her forehead with determination in her eyes. "I must master this power quickly; I can't let them hurt the people I care about anymore."
With that, Lin Ke'er closed her eyes again and began to channel the energy within her according to the records in the ancient texts.
As time passed, Lin Ke'er gradually mastered the method of controlling her bloodline power. She could feel a powerful force surging within her, ready to explode at any moment.
However, just as Lin Keer was about to fully grasp her bloodline power, danger approached silently.
"Not good! They're here!" Meng Shaohui suddenly burst through the door, panic evident on his face.
"Who is it?" Xiao Tian stood up abruptly, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.
"It's... it's the mastermind's people!" Meng Shaohui gasped for breath. "They're here to capture Ke'er!"
As soon as the words were spoken, a loud explosion echoed from outside the door, causing the entire room to shake violently, with dust swirling and obscuring everyone's vision.
"Ke'er!" Xiao Tian shouted, rushing towards Lin Ke'er.
"Cough, cough, cough..." Lin Ke'er got up from the ground, covered in dust. "I'm fine..."
"Let's go! It's not safe here!" Xiao Tian grabbed Lin Ke'er and dashed out of the room.
Outside the door, a dozen men in black surrounded Xiao Tian and the others, armed with weapons.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Xiao Tian asked coldly, shielding Lin Ke'er behind him, his eyes filled with vigilance and hostility.
"Our target is her," the leader of the men in black said coldly, pointing at Lin Ke'er. "If you know what's good for you, hand her over quietly. Otherwise, don't blame us for being rude!"
