Valo led Wei Dong and God Tone through the crowd in the dueling arena, with a steady and composed pace. They walked along the exquisitely paved stone road towards the wider main street. The street was bustling with lively street vendors, shouting, conversations, and the sounds of carriages and horses, creating a busy and vibrant city scene.
They arrived at a carriage parked by the roadside. The carriage was adorned with the emblem of Noxus, shining in the sunlight with its red and black colors. The exterior of the carriage was classical and magnificent, with gilded decorations and delicate carvings showcasing its noble status. Many curious eyes gathered around the carriage, and people discussed it with strong interest, intrigued by this unusual sight.
Mr. Valo smiled as he opened the carriage door and gestured invitingly. Wei Dong and God Tone exchanged a knowing glance before entering the carriage one after the other. Their large frames made the interior of the carriage quite cramped. When Wei Dong sat down, he accidentally bumped against the window, producing a slight rattling sound. God Tone carefully adjusted his seating position to ensure there was enough space.
At that moment, Mr. Valo was also preparing to enter the carriage. He gently held onto the door, bent his body, and cautiously squeezed inside. Due to the size of The Two Brothers, Mr. Valo had to slightly turn sideways to find a relatively comfortable spot to sit. He appeared somewhat helpless but maintained a polite smile.
The carriage slowly started moving, and the noise from outside gradually faded away, but the atmosphere inside was filled with a relaxed and cheerful vibe. Wei Dong and God Tone seemed completely unaffected by the earlier crowd; instead, they began excitedly discussing their adventures in this brand new world.
The carriage gently swayed as it passed through the bustling streets of Valo. The sights on the street receded continuously, while the steady vibrations of the carriage brought a wonderful sense of novelty to The Two Brothers.
Wei Dong felt curious and turned to Mr. Valo, asking, "Where are we going now?"
Mr. Valo looked out at the street scene and then replied, "We are currently heading to the capital of Noxus. There, you will have the opportunity to meet the Triumvirate of Noxus—this is your first important mission as newly appointed Summoners."
Wei Dong, hearing this, couldn't help but curiously touch his fleshy chin, secretly speculating about who this so-called "The Triumvirate" might be. His eyes sparkled with a desire for the unknown and excitement for adventure, filled with curiosity. He imagined the infinite possibilities of the future. "What kind of existence could 'The Triumvirate' be?" he muttered to himself.
God Tone, on the other hand, appeared somewhat uneasy. He rubbed his hands together over his lap, producing some black dirt that he casually wiped on the carriage seat, seeming indifferent. A glint of cunning flashed in his eyes as a mocking smile curled at the corners of his mouth. "'The Triumvirate'? Sounds like one of those... well, big shots sitting in high places, right? Anyway, who they are doesn't matter to us; it's just another game."
Mr. Valo listened to the conversation of The Two Brothers, slightly furrowing his brow but saying nothing more. He knew that The Two Brothers had unique personalities and did not play by the rules, but their strength was undeniable. He turned to look out the window, thinking to himself that bringing them into Noxus might bring new vitality to Noxus, or perhaps stir up some waves.
As the carriage gradually moved away from the city and onto the road to the capital of Noxus, The Two Brothers continued their banter and antics. Wei Dong joked with God Tone, "When we meet The Triumvirate, don't forget to show off your heroic demeanor!"
God Tone laughed heartily, "Don't worry, bro, I was born to be an actor!"
As the carriage steadily moved along the picturesque road, Wei Dong and God Tone gradually immersed themselves in a comfortable tranquility. Wei Dong's head tilted slightly to one side, his brows lightly furrowed, as if still pondering a tactical issue in his dreams. Occasionally, his lips moved gently, seemingly unconsciously directing a battle. His breathing gradually became steady, in sync with the rhythm of the carriage. A thin trickle of saliva quietly slipped from the corner of his slightly open mouth, leaving a smooth trail that extended slowly with the swaying motion, eventually falling silently onto his collar.
God Tone was completely relaxed, his head resting against the carriage window, mouth slightly open, emitting a thunderous snore. The sound was strong and rhythmic, accompanied by the gentle rocking of the carriage, as if playing a distant lullaby. Occasionally, a faint smile appeared on his face, perhaps dreaming of something pleasant. One of his hands rested unconsciously on his knee, fingertips lightly tapping as if mimicking an action from a game.
Mr. Valo witnessed this scene from across the way, feeling both amused and helpless. He had originally intended to discuss the challenges ahead with The Two Brothers and the future plans for Noxus, but it seemed they had already drifted off to dreamland. Mr. Valo sighed and lowered his head slightly, trying to find a moment of peace amidst the constant vibrations of the carriage. The sound of God Tone's snoring echoed within the carriage, accompanied by Wei Dong's occasional mumbling, making Mr. Valo unable to suppress a smile.
The carriage continued to pass through the lush green fields, occasionally passing by small towns and villages, where passersby cast curious and even fearful glances at the carriage marked with the Noxus insignia. The Two Brothers were completely unaware of the changes in the outside world; in their dreams, they remained the fearless and free-spirited versions of themselves. Inside the carriage at that moment, only their breathing and the sound of hooves created a calm and unique world.
