"Crack! Crack!"
A few crisp sounds came from behind.
"Swish!"
Yan Jien suddenly turned around to look.
He saw five Mutant Mice appearing on the opposite side of the pond!
These Mutant Mice were clearly much smaller than the one he encountered before, only the size of a kitten!
They lacked the keratinous tissue on their necks, making their bodies slimmer and more elongated, looking more agile!
"Hiss!"
They stared at Yan Jien, hissing as if facing a formidable enemy!
"Indeed, they are Mutant Mice!" Yan Jien exclaimed excitedly.
"Squeak!"
Suddenly, one of the Mutant Mice let out a scream, spread its wings, and lunged at Yan Jien!
"Smack!"
Yan Jien reacted quickly and swatted it away, sending it crashing onto the grass several meters away!
"Squeak squeak squeak!"
The remaining four Mutant Mice screamed in unison and charged at Yan Jien!
"Bang bang bang!"
Yan Jien swung his fists, knocking them away one by one!
However, these Mutant Mice were very fierce; despite being injured, they charged again!
They opened their mouths and bit down on Yan Jien's body!
"Huh?" Yan Jien suddenly froze.
The area where he was bitten felt a slight tingling sensation!
"It's paralysis toxin!" Yan Jien realized.
The teeth of the Mutant Mice contained paralysis toxin; anything bitten would be paralyzed!
"Crack crack crack!"
As the toxin spread, Yan Jien's body underwent a secondary transformation!
Fangs grew from his cheeks, and sharp claws sprouted from his hands!
"Swish swish swish!"
Yan Jien wielded his claws, killing the Mutant Mice one by one!
"Bang bang bang!"
The corpses of the Mutant Mice fell from the air, landing by the edge of the pond!
"Clap! Clap!"
Yan Jien clapped his hands and let out a sigh of relief.
He had sustained some minor injuries, but it wasn't a big deal!
"These Mutant Mice should be juvenile offspring that haven't matured yet!" Yan Jien speculated.
He walked over, picked up the Mutant Mice, and examined them closely.
"They're much smaller than that mature Mutant Mouse, and they lack keratinous tissue; they must be juvenile offspring!" Yan Jien concluded.
"But... what about their reproductive systems?" Yan Jien frowned.
There was no obvious reproductive system beneath the bellies of these Mutant Mice!
"Without a reproductive system, how did these Mutant Mice reproduce?" Yan Jien was puzzled.
After thinking for a moment, he collected the bodies of the Mutant Mice and picked up the egg on the ground, placing it in his backpack.
"The mature Mutant Rat King should be nearby!" Yan Jien deduced.
He looked into the distance where there was a mountain peak shaped like a goat's horn, aptly named Goat Horn Peak!
"It’s very likely located at Goat Horn Peak!" Yan Jien's eyes lit up.
He planned to chase after it to take a look!
"Hmm?" Yan Jien suddenly noticed that the surveillance footage on his phone showed that Rabbit One was undergoing changes!
Its back was visibly swollen, and its entire body trembled as if it were enduring immense pain!
"What happened to it?" Yan Jien was astonished.
Upon closer inspection, he discovered that Rabbit One had developed a pair of fangs in its mouth, resembling those of the Mutant Mice!
"It actually underwent secondary metamorphosis!" Yan Jien was shocked.
Rabbit One had only been injected with the blood of the Mutant Rat King, yet such a significant change occurred; it was truly hard to believe!
"It’s in great pain and its emotions are extremely unstable!" Yan Jien worried.
Through the surveillance, he could sense Rabbit One's emotions were very intense!
"It has a strong desire to kill right now!" Yan Jien felt anxious.
If Rabbit One escaped, it could potentially attack others or even eat people!
"I must hurry back!" Yan Jien urged himself.
He rushed down the mountain.

Goat Horn Peak.
Atop a cliff.
A gigantic Mutant Mouse lay on a rock, chewing on something.
The rock was large and flat, resembling a big bed!
"Pop!"
The Mutant Rat King opened its mouth and crushed a heart, chewing it to bits!
It was delighted, emitting a series of squeaks.
However, at that moment, it suddenly stopped, sniffing the air.
"Squeak squeak squeak!"
It let out an angry hiss, spreading its wings and rushing down the cliff!
"Swish swish!"
Two mature Mutant Mice flew out from their nest, closely following behind.

Yan Jien was running.
He was incredibly fast, even faster than an Olympic champion!
Yet, he still felt slow, wishing he had two more legs!
"Hmm?" Yan Jien suddenly stopped.
He sensed that the emotions of Rabbit One had intensified!
It was now extremely agitated, very angry, and filled with a strong desire for destruction!
"Its back is starting to change too!" Yan Jien exclaimed in fear.
Through the surveillance, he could see Rabbit One's back rising high, covered in many tiny scales that sparkled!
"It looks just like the Mutant Rat King now!" Yan Jien was shocked.
He never expected that simply injecting the blood of the Mutant Rat King would cause such a miraculous transformation in Rabbit One!
"I have to hurry back!" Yan Jien urged anxiously.
He sensed that Rabbit One's emotions were becoming increasingly unstable and could spiral out of control at any moment!
"Swish swish swish!"
Yan Jien darted swiftly through the woods.
