Yan Jien stopped at the entrance of the community, suddenly realizing that the Mutant Rat King had caught up! He halted and looked back. However, there was nothing behind him, just emptiness. "Hmm?" Yan Jien frowned. He closed his eyes and sensed carefully, discovering that the Mutant Rat King was still quite far away from him. "It hasn't caught up yet!" Yan Jien sighed in relief. He ignored it and continued walking into the community. His top priority now was to deal with the issue of Rabbit No. 1; he had no time to worry about the Rat King!
Yan Jien entered the community and headed towards Building 16. He walked quickly, and a few minutes later, he arrived at the foot of Building 16. What Yan Jien didn't notice was that the Rat King and two Mutant Mice had already followed him! They were hiding in a tree nearby, coldly staring at Yan Jien!
"Swish!" Yan Jien entered the elevator and pressed the button for the 28th floor. The elevator ascended slowly and soon reached the 28th floor. Yan Jien stepped out of the elevator and approached his front door. Just as he was about to open it, he suddenly froze.
He saw three Mutant Mice hovering outside the window of room 2802! Leading them was the Rat King! It glared at Yan Jien with eyes full of hatred! "Not good!" Yan Jien exclaimed in shock. He never expected that the Rat King would chase him all the way home!
"Knock knock!" Yan Jien hurriedly knocked on the door, wanting to alert Yan Weila. However, after knocking for a while, no one answered! "Yan Weila!" Yan Jien shouted. He was anxious, wishing he could break down the door!
"Click!" The door opened, and Yan Weila appeared at the entrance. She had just taken a shower; her hair was wet, and she was wrapped in a towel, her fair skin exposed to the air, looking very alluring! "What's wrong?" Yan Weila asked in confusion.
"Are you okay?" Yan Jien asked in surprise. He noticed that the Rat King was hovering outside the window, coldly staring at them both! "I'm fine, what's wrong?" Yan Weila shook her head.
"Has anything strange happened in your house?" Yan Jien inquired. "No, everything is normal!" Yan Weila replied, even more puzzled.
"Think carefully!" Yan Jien urged. "Really nothing happened; I just finished my shower and came over when I heard knocking!" Yan Weila insisted.
"Ah—" Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed from inside the room!
"What sound?" Yan Jien exclaimed in panic.
"The sound from my house!" Yan Weila realized and hurriedly turned to run into the room.
"Wait!" Yan Jien tried to stop her, but it was too late!
Yan Weila had already dashed into the room!
Worried for Yan Weila's safety, Yan Jien quickly followed her inside!
"Ah—"
A scream rang out again!
Following the direction of the sound, Yan Jien saw a Mutant Mouse hovering in mid-air, having bitten Yan Weila's calf!
"Ah—"
Yan Weila let out a heart-wrenching scream and fell to the ground!
"Get away!"
Yan Jien shouted in anger, rushing forward to drive the Mutant Mouse away!
"Swish!"
The Mutant Mouse flapped its wings and flew into the air, coldly staring at Yan Jien.
"Chirp chirp chirp!"
It emitted a sharp screech, seemingly calling for its companions!
"Swish swish!"
The Mouse King and another Mutant Mouse flew in through the window!
They hovered in mid-air, coldly glaring at Yan Jien and Yan Weila!
"Yan Jien, what are they...?" Yan Weila asked, her face pale with fear.
"They are Mutant Mice, monsters that like to eat people!" Yan Jien explained.
"Eating... people?" Yan Weila trembled with even more terror.
"It's okay, I will protect you!" Yan Jien reassured her.
"Mm!" Yan Weila nodded, feeling slightly more at ease.
"You rest for a bit; I'll handle them!" Yan Jien positioned himself protectively in front of Yan Weila.
"Mm!" Yan Weila nodded and obediently stood behind Yan Jien.
"Swish swish swish!"
The three Mutant Mice lunged toward Yan Jien simultaneously!
"Get lost!" Yan Jien roared, swinging his fist at the Mutant Mouse. However, the Mutant Mouse was very agile and easily dodged his attack.
"Bang!" Yan Jien's punch missed and hit the floor, creating a large dent in it.
"Squeak squeak squeak!" Taking advantage of the moment, the Mutant Mouse counterattacked, biting at Yan Jien's neck.
"Buzz!" Yan Jien used a psychic shockwave to scare the Mutant Mouse away.
"Bang bang bang!" He swung his fists, engaging in battle with the Mutant Mouse. However, there were three of them, and they were extremely nimble, making it difficult for Yan Jien to land a hit.
"Thud!" Soon, Yan Jien was injured; his left arm was bitten, leaving a row of bloody holes, blood pouring out!
"Yan Jien, are you okay?" Yan Weila asked with concern.
"I'm fine!" Yan Jien shook his head. He looked around and realized he had nowhere to retreat, so he decided to stop backing down and fight the Mutant Mouse with all his might!
"Bang bang bang!" Yan Jien wildly swung his fists, fiercely battling the Mutant Mouse. However, two fists were no match for six mouths, and he continued to get hurt!
"Thud!" One of the Mutant Mice seized the opportunity to launch a sneak attack, biting at Yan Jien's throat.
"Get lost!" Yan Jien shouted angrily as he punched at the Mutant Mouse again. But once more, the Mutant Mouse was too agile and easily evaded his attack.
"Thud!" The Mutant Mouse bit into Yan Jien's neck, creating another row of bloody holes!
"Ah—" Yan Jien let out a piercing scream. He felt that there seemed to be paralyzing poison in the teeth of the Mutant Mouse; his entire body went numb!
"Yan Jien!" Yan Weila exclaimed in panic.
She wanted to help, but she felt utterly powerless!
"Roar—"
Yan Jien let out an angry roar and transformed into his beast form!
Fangs sprouted from his cheeks, and sharp claws emerged from his hands!
"Swish, swish, swish!"
Yan Jien swung his claws, engaging in a fierce battle with the Mutant Mouse!
"Thud! Thud!"
His claws were incredibly sharp, effortlessly tearing apart two Mutant Mice!
"Squeak, squeak, squeak!"
The Mouse King, terrified, turned to flee!
"Where do you think you're going?" Yan Jien roared and chased after it!
"Bang, bang, bang!"
The man and mouse fought fiercely in the room!
However, the Mouse King's speed was too great; Yan Jien simply couldn't keep up!
"Thud!"
Yan Jien was bitten again, a row of bloody holes appearing on his back, blood pouring out!
"Yan Jien!" Yan Weila's worry deepened.
"I'm fine!" Yan Jien shook his head.
He glared at the Mouse King, filled with rage!
"Damn beast!" Yan Jien cursed.
He wanted to continue the pursuit, but his body began to uncontrollably change again!
Ears sprouted from the top of his head, and a tail grew from behind him!
"Oh no, I've mutated again!" Yan Jien exclaimed in shock.
