Yan Jien arrived at the laboratory and saw Yan Weila looking anxiously at a puppy. He quickly approached to observe the puppy, which was curled up in its cage, trembling. Yan Jien reached out to touch its body and found it was burning hot.
"What happened?!" Yan Jien's expression changed dramatically. He hurriedly took out a device to measure the puppy's heartbeat. The results showed that the puppy's heart was racing, exceeding one hundred fifty beats per minute!
"It was fine just a moment ago; how did it suddenly become like this?" Yan Jien furrowed his brows. He thought carefully; he hadn't done anything unusual except inject all four puppies with T Liquid. Could it be because of the T Liquid?
"Let's inject it with T Liquid first and see if it helps!" Yan Jien decided. He quickly took out the T Liquid and injected it into the puppy. "I hope this works!" he prayed.
Next, Yan Jien and Yan Weila monitored the puppy's condition, but after ten minutes, there was no improvement; instead, its condition seemed to worsen!
"We have no choice but to try something else!" Yan Jien gritted his teeth and took out a mixture, injecting it into the puppy's body!
Yan Jien and Yan Weila nervously watched the puppy, ready to take immediate action if it showed any adverse reactions. One minute passed, then two minutes, five minutes…
After fifteen minutes, the puppy's tense state finally began to ease; its temperature returned to normal, and its heart rate stabilized.
"Looks like it's okay now?" Yan Weila sighed in relief.
"It should be fine for now," Yan Jien nodded. He checked the time; it was already midnight.
"You should go rest; I'll handle things here," Yan Jien said to Yan Weila.
"Okay, thank you for your hard work." Yan Weila yawned and headed toward her bedroom.
Yan Jien then checked on the other three puppies; they had not shown any adverse symptoms yet, but their condition was still not great.
"Let’s keep them for a while longer," he thought, weighing each of the three puppies and marking them before placing them back in their cages. He planned to continue caring for them until he got results on Puppy Number One (the one that had shown adverse reactions).
After completing these tasks, Yan Jien left the laboratory and began his training session for the day—boxing.
Yan Jien installed the speed ball and then began to practice. He stared intently at the spinning speed ball, his focus unwavering. At that moment, his mind was free of distractions, with only this opponent in front of him!
"Ha!" Yan Jien shouted as he threw a punch at the speed ball! He aimed to grasp the rhythm of the ball's rotation, striking its center every time! Only by doing so could he continuously improve his fighting skills!
Yan Jien threw punch after punch, veins bulging on his forehead, sweat streaming down his face. One hour, two hours, three hours... Yan Jien continued for a full four hours until he was utterly exhausted.
"Ha—" Yan Jien gasped for breath, his entire body soaked in sweat. However, his eyes shone with brightness. In the recent training, he had discovered an optimal explosive stance and punching rhythm that significantly enhanced his strength!
"If I encounter a pack of Wild Dogs now, even without transforming, I can still fight them!" Yan Jien clenched his fists, filled with confidence.
Next, Yan Jien took a shower, changed into clean clothes, and fed the four little puppies with goat milk. He checked their health and found that they were temporarily fine.
"Hmm?" Yan Jien suddenly noticed that Dog No. 1 seemed to have entered a "hibernation" state, showing no reaction at all. "What's going on?" Yan Jien was puzzled. After some thought, he could only attribute it to the powerful effects of the mixed liquid.
"I'll check again tomorrow," Yan Jien said, shaking his head as he turned toward the bedroom. He planned to get a good night's sleep to replenish his energy for the training ahead.
The next morning at six o'clock, Yan Jien got up and washed up before heading to the laboratory. He first checked on the four little puppies and found them still weak but not in any danger. He then examined Dog No. 1 and discovered it was still in its "hibernation" state and had not woken up.
"This 'hibernation' state probably won't end anytime soon," Yan Jien thought to himself.
Next, he checked on the snake. After consuming a rabbit enhanced by T Liquid, the snake showed no adverse reactions. "It seems T Liquid has no side effects for snakes," Yan Jien nodded in approval.
He decided to observe for another day; if the snake's condition remained normal, it would prove that rabbits enhanced by T Liquid were safe for consumption.
"Well, I'll catch some rabbits and mice to bring back for the neighbors to try later," Yan Jien thought to himself.
"Yan Jien, what are you doing?" At that moment, Yan Weila walked over.
"Oh, I'm feeding the puppies breakfast," Yan Jien replied.
"I'm going to work soon, so I'll come by later," Yan Weila said.
"Okay," Yan Jien nodded.
"Oh right," Yan Weila seemed to remember something.
"What is it?" Yan Jien asked, puzzled.
"Thank you," Yan Weila said seriously as she looked at Yan Jien.
"Hehe, no need to mention it," Yan Jien smiled.
"If it weren't for your help, I really wouldn't know what to do," Yan Weila expressed her gratitude.
"Who told me to be your neighbor?" Yan Jien chuckled.
"Just a neighbor?" Yan Weila shot him a glare.
"Ahem, I'm going to train now," Yan Jien cleared his throat and quickly left.
"What an idiot!" Yan Weila stomped her foot in frustration as she watched Yan Jien's back.

Yan Jien arrived at the training room and began a new day of training.
"Now my strength and speed have greatly improved, but my fighting skills are still lacking," Yan Jien contemplated.
He planned to find some videos to learn high-difficulty moves and then record some videos to upload online to attract fans.
"Now that Dou Dou's condition is temporarily stable, I can finally relax a bit," Yan Jien felt relieved.
"However, I still can't let my guard down," he reminded himself.
He thought about his own situation. It had been eight days since he ate the Mouse King, and the incubation period was longer than the previous uncontrollable intervals!
"I hope nothing goes wrong," Yan Jien prayed silently.
