Professor Fang maintained his transformed state, tearing a plump rabbit in half and chewing it voraciously. "It's too dangerous here; I don't want anything to happen to you," Yan Jien explained.
"I don't want to leave you," Yan Weila shook her head.
"But..." Yan Jien looked worried.
"There are no 'buts.' I want to be with you, even if it means dying together," Yan Weila said firmly.
"Yan Jie..." Yan Jien was touched.
"Don't say anything. Just love me well," Yan Weila kissed Yan Jien.
"Mm," Yan Jien nodded heavily.
