"Brother Yan Jien, what should I do to enter the transformation state?" Tong Liya said with a troubled expression.
"Don't worry," Yan Jien comforted her. "Take your time."
"But why does it feel so difficult?" Tong Liya said, feeling frustrated.
"It is indeed very difficult," Yan Jien nodded and replied, "Even I took a long time to complete my first transformation."
"Really?" Tong Liya was astonished.

"So what should I do?" Tong Liya inquired.
"It's simple," Yan Jien said. "Find a mutated creature and fight it."
"This..." Tong Liya hesitated.
"I know what you're worried about," Yan Jien chuckled and said, "You don't have to be afraid; I will protect you."
"That's not what I meant," Tong Liya quickly clarified. "I just think it's too dangerous."
"Don't worry," Yan Jien waved his hand and reassured her. "I know what I'm doing."
"Alright then," Tong Liya said helplessly.
For the next two days, Yan Jien began searching for mutated creatures. However, he searched all over Nanquan City and found no clues at all. Yan Jien even suspected that aside from Jinyuan Mountain, there were no mutated creatures anywhere else.
"Do I really have to find an opponent for Liya myself?" Yan Jien frowned at the thought. Once this idea popped into his head, he couldn't suppress it. However, he was also worried that problems would arise at home if he left. After all, if he left, only Tong Liya would be at home. If she lost control, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"What if I just attack Liya directly?" Yan Jien suddenly had a wild thought. As long as he attacked Tong Liya, she would definitely react. But Yan Jien quickly dismissed this idea. Not to mention that Tong Liya couldn't possibly defeat him; even if she could, he wouldn't want to go hard on her.
"It seems I'll have to take matters into my own hands," Yan Jien sighed.
Having made up his mind, Yan Jien started taking action. He first searched online for any clues about mutated creatures but unfortunately found nothing.
"Do I really have to find them myself?" Yan Jien frowned again.
After thinking for a moment, he decided to occupy Jinyuan Mountain first. This way, he could confidently search for mutated creatures elsewhere without worry.
Without hesitation, Yan Jien spent the entire morning exploring Jinyuan Mountain. He marked the entire area as his territory so that any foreign creatures would carry his scent.
In the afternoon, he went to Professor Fang's construction site to deal with water and electricity positioning issues. By the time he finished, it was already close to six o'clock.
"Liya, let's take a stroll around Jinyuan Mountain," Yan Jien said.
"Now?" Tong Liya was taken aback.
"Yes," Yan Jien nodded.
"Just the two of us?" Tong Liya asked, puzzled.
"And some bread and milk tea," Yan Jien added.
"Ah?" Tong Liya was stunned.
"Let's go," Yan Jien urged.
"I don't want to stay home alone," Tong Liya said.
"I know," Yan Jien nodded and said, "That's why I asked you to come with me."
"But..." Tong Liya hesitated.
"No buts," Yan Jien waved his hand and said, "We're just going for a quick walk and will be back soon."
"Alright then," Tong Liya replied helplessly.
The two of them, along with their dogs, arrived at Jinyuan Mountain. Yan Jien let the dogs roam freely while he and Tong Liya headed towards Qingyang Peak.
As they reached halfway up the mountain, they encountered a group of wild boars. The boars were foraging and stopped in their tracks upon seeing Yan Jien and Tong Liya.
"Liya, are you scared?" Yan Jien asked.
"No," Tong Liya shook her head.
"Good," Yan Jien nodded and said, "You wait here for me."
With that, Yan Jien charged towards the group of wild boars. These boars were ordinary creatures; with just a slight release of mental pressure from him, they panicked and fled in all directions.
"Liya, how do you feel?" Yan Jien returned to Tong Liya's side, concerned.
"I feel... really hungry," Tong Liya hesitated.
"What do you want to eat?" Yan Jien asked curiously.
"I don't know," Tong Liya shook her head and said, "I just really want to eat something."
"What do you feel right now?" Yan Jien inquired.
"I..." Just as Tong Liya was about to say something, her expression suddenly changed.
"Liya, what's wrong?" Yan Jien quickly asked.
"I... I'm itchy all over," Tong Liya trembled.
"Where are you itchy?" Yan Jien pressed on.
"My hands and feet," Tong Liya replied.
"Anything else?" Yan Jien continued to ask.
"Also... my teeth and the top of my head," Tong Liya said.
"This is getting out of control," Yan Jien frowned.
"What should we do?" Tong Liya panicked.
"Don't be afraid," Yan Jien comforted her. "I'm here."
"But I... I feel like I can't control it anymore," Tong Liya said in distress.
"I know," Yan Jien nodded and said, "I've already found an opponent for you."
"What?" Tong Liya was taken aback.
"Look over there," Yan Jien said, pointing ahead.
Tong Liya followed Yan Jien's direction and saw the wild boar that had just run away returning.
Moreover, their numbers had increased several times, totaling over a hundred.
"Liya, you can do it," Yan Jien encouraged. "I believe you'll succeed soon."
"But..." Tong Liya hesitated, "Will they attack us?"
"Of course not," Yan Jien waved his hand and said. "They are just here to help you with your transformation."
"Alright then," Tong Liya gritted her teeth.
Soon, the herd of wild boars surrounded them.
However, they did not attack Yan Jien and Tong Liya; instead, they watched them warily.
"Liya, go ahead," Yan Jien said, patting Tong Liya on the shoulder.
"Okay," Tong Liya took a deep breath and walked toward the herd of wild boars.
After walking a few meters, she suddenly stopped.
"Liya, what's wrong?" Yan Jien asked in confusion.
"I..." Tong Liya opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
Suddenly, a strong wave of energy erupted from her body.
"Liya, what's happening to you?" Yan Jien exclaimed in shock.
"I... I don't know," Tong Liya trembled as she spoke.
"Calm down first," Yan Jien quickly said.
"I... I can't control myself," Tong Liya struggled to say.
"What?" Yan Jien was taken aback.
At that moment, Tong Liya's transformation began.
She rapidly turned into the kind of monster that Yan Jien had seen before and then locked onto him directly.
"Liya, it's me," Yan Jien exclaimed in horror.
However, Tong Liya couldn't hear him; she lunged toward Yan Jien at an incredible speed.
