"Bang!"
Yan Jien's fist slammed into Mr. Wu's chest, sending him flying.
"Ugh!"
Mr. Wu grunted and fell six meters away.
"Die!"
Yan Jien relentlessly lunged at him.
"You little brat, you're asking for death!" Mr. Wu roared in anger.
He didn't expect that he would be caught off guard and be suppressed by Yan Jien.
"Boom!"
A terrifying aura erupted from Mr. Wu as he swung his fist to counterattack.
"Bang bang bang!"
The two fists collided continuously, producing a series of muffled sounds.
"Die!"
Yan Jien shouted furiously, his eyes bloodshot.
At this moment, he had only one thought in his mind: to kill Mr. Wu and rescue Yan Weila!
"Boom!"
A terrifying aura burst forth from Yan Jien.
"Arooo!"
Yan Jien howled to the sky, his muscles swelling and his body expanding dramatically.
In an instant, he completed his transformation.
However, this transformation was slightly different from before.
Previously, his transformation only made him larger and lengthened his fur.
But this time, his head underwent a significant change.
His mouth protruded forward, his ears grew larger, and his eyes turned amber, resembling a wolf's head.
"This... is the Perfect Form Werewolf?" Mr. Wu's pupils constricted, a hint of horror flashing in his eyes.
He never expected that Yan Jien would evolve into the Perfect Form Werewolf state at such a critical moment.
"Die!"
Yan Jien shouted as he lunged at Mr. Wu.
"Not good!" Mr. Wu's face changed dramatically as he hurriedly swung his fist to meet the attack.
"Bang!"
A muffled sound echoed.
Mr. Wu was sent flying.
"Pfft!"
In mid-air, Mr. Wu spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Bang!"
Another muffled sound followed.
Mr. Wu crashed to the ground, creating a massive crater on impact.
"Die!"
Yan Jien leaped into the air, descending upon Mr. Wu like a mountain pressing down.
"Stop!" Mr. Wu exclaimed in horror.
"Boom!"
Yan Jien landed heavily on Mr. Wu, driving him deep into the earth.
"Pfft!"
Mr. Wu coughed up blood again, convulsing all over, realizing he was not going to survive this.
"Vera!"
After killing Mr. Wu, Yan Jien rushed to Yan Weila's side and helped her up.
"Yan Jien..." Yan Weila said with tear-filled eyes, "Am I... going to die?"
"No, you won't die! I won't let you die!" Yan Jien shook his head urgently.
He examined her closely and found that her spine had been shattered in several places, especially the cervical vertebrae in her neck, which were nearly completely broken; even if she were taken to a hospital, it seemed unlikely she would survive.
"Yan Jien..." Yan Weila touched his face gently, "Promise me that if I die, you will live well..."
"You won't die!" Yan Jien gritted his teeth and pulled out a vial of mixed liquid from his pocket, pouring it into Yan Weila's mouth.
At this point, he could only hope for a miracle.
If the mixture can't save Yan Weila, then there's nothing more he can do.
"Yan Jien..." Yan Weila opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but her eyelids grew heavier.
"Don't be afraid, I will always be with you," Yan Jien said, holding her hand tightly and speaking softly.
"Mm..." Yan Weila responded, slowly closing her eyes.
"Vera!" At that moment, Tong Liya woke up with a start and ran over.
"Liya, you're awake?" Yan Jien exclaimed in surprise.
"Yan Jien, what's wrong with Sister Weila?" Tong Liya asked anxiously as she looked at the unconscious Yan Weila.
"She got hurt," Yan Jien sighed. "I've already given her the mixture; as for whether she can survive, we can only leave it to fate."
"Sister Weila..." Tong Liya's eyes turned red as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Alright, don't cry," Yan Jien comforted her by patting her shoulder. "We need to believe in Vera; she will be fine."
"Mm." Tong Liya nodded and wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes.
After that, the two of them stayed by Yan Weila's side, quietly waiting.
Time passed.
Soon, night fell.
At this point, Yan Weila's wounds had mostly healed, but there were still no signs of any changes.
"Yan Jien, why hasn't Sister Weila woken up yet?" Tong Liya couldn't help but ask.
"I don't know either," Yan Jien shook his head.
He had previously given Yan Weila the mixture and knew she could undergo a transformation, but he didn't expect it to take this long this time.
"What should we do?" Tong Liya asked worriedly.
"Let's wait a bit longer," Yan Jien sighed.
Right now, all he could do was wait.
Late at night, Yan Jien and Tong Liya remained by Yan Weila's side.
"Yan Jien, look!" Tong Liya suddenly exclaimed.
"What is it?" Yan Jien was taken aback and looked down.
He saw a burst of white light suddenly emanating from Yan Weila's body.
"This is..." Yan Jien's pupils constricted, a glimmer of wild joy flashing in his eyes.
White light enveloped Yan Weila's entire body, creating a truly magical sight.
"Does this mean Sister Weila has completed her mutation?" Tong Liya asked.
"It should be," Yan Jien nodded.
"Then why hasn't she woken up yet?" Tong Liya questioned, puzzled.
"Just wait a bit longer," Yan Jien took a deep breath.
Moments later, the white light gradually dissipated.
"Yan Jien..." Yan Weila opened her eyes, looking at Yan Jien with a hint of confusion on her face.
"Vera, you're awake?" Yan Jien exclaimed joyfully.
"What happened to me?" Yan Weila asked in bewilderment.
"You were injured and just completed your mutation," Yan Jien explained.
"I completed my mutation?" Yan Weila paused for a moment, then her face lit up with excitement.
"Yes," Yan Jien smiled and nodded, "How do you feel now?"
"I feel..." Yan Weila frowned slightly, "I'm really hungry."
"Hungry?" Yan Jien was taken aback.
"I really want to eat something," Yan Weila swallowed hard.
"Wait here, I'll go find you something to eat," Tong Liya said before running off into the distance.
"Liya..." Yan Weila wanted to stop her, but Tong Liya had already run far away.
"Vera, try to see if you can stand up," Yan Jien said.
"I'll give it a try," Yan Weila nodded and slowly stood up.
"How does it feel?" Yan Jien asked with concern.
"No problem," Yan Weila moved her limbs around, "Just a bit hungry."
"That's a normal reaction," Yan Jien sighed in relief and smiled.
By the way, what happened to the buzz-cut guy and Mr. Wu?" Yan Weila suddenly asked.
"I killed the buzz-cut guy," Yan Jien replied, "As for Mr. Wu, I also killed him."
"You killed Mr. Wu?" Yan Weila's eyes widened in shock, disbelief flashing across her face.
Mr. Wu's strength is quite formidable; she has experienced it firsthand. Unexpectedly, she was killed by Yan Jien.
"Mm." Yan Jien nodded and recounted the events that had transpired.
"I see." Yan Weila said, realization dawning on her.
After chatting for a while, Tong Liya returned with several wild rabbits.
"Liya, thank you," Yan Weila expressed her gratitude.
"There's no need to be polite with me," Tong Liya smiled.
"I... can I eat raw meat?" Yan Weila hesitated for a moment.
"Of course," Yan Jien nodded and handed her a wild rabbit.
"Thank you." Yan Weila said gratefully and then began to eat.
Watching her ferocious eating style, Yan Jien and Tong Liya exchanged glances.
"It seems Sister Weila is really starving," Tong Liya murmured.
"Yeah," Yan Jien nodded in agreement.
The two chatted while waiting for Yan Weila. It wasn't until Yan Weila had eaten three wild rabbits that she finally stopped.
"I'm so full," Yan Weila said contentedly as she wiped her mouth.
" Sister Weila, how do you feel now?" Tong Liya asked curiously.
"I don't feel anything," Yan Weila shook her head slightly.
"No way?" Tong Liya exclaimed in surprise. "Haven't you already undergone the mutation?"
"This..." Yan Weila was also taken aback.
"Yan Jien, what's going on?" Tong Liya looked at Yan Jien with confusion.
"I don't know either," Yan Jien shook his head, his brow furrowed in concern.
Logically speaking, after eating three wild rabbits, Yan Weila should have entered a state of uncontrollability. But it seemed that she was completely fine.
"Could it be..." A thought crossed Yan Jien's mind, considering a possibility.
