After the two of us got out of bed, the afternoon had already passed halfway. The sunlight filtered through and fell onto the bed, as well as on both of us.
Xiao Minxing wrapped his arm around me, squinting at the window, a faint smile still lingering at the corner of his mouth.

He lay there without moving, but just as I let out a sigh of relief inside, the door was pushed open from the outside. Xiao Minxing's handsome face appeared as he said, "I saw you putting in a lot of effort earlier; I can help you take a shower."
"No need, I can manage myself."
But he still walked in; my words seemed to be easily ignored in his world.

She quickly replied, "It's not that I'm afraid of him; I'm worried about causing you more trouble. Who knows what might trigger his bad mood? If something happens and I leave, he would only come to settle the score with you."
To comfort her and also to be honest, I said, "You don't have to worry this time; he was the one who helped bring you here with me."
"Really? No way!" Mina got up from the bed but seemed dizzy and immediately leaned against the headboard again. She covered her forehead with one hand while asking me, "He didn't do anything to you, right?"
At this point, she was still thinking about me. With such a close friend like her, I'm truly blessed.
We both came out of the room and couldn't find Xiao Minxing inside or outside. When we confirmed that this Good Fellow was not home, I felt a surge of emotions, my voice got louder, and I became bolder. I turned on the TV, found an entertainment channel, and took a seat on the Sofa, half lying down while watching and eating.
