When Su Qian arrived, he was still holding a large bag of items.
As soon as I saw him like this, my eyes hurt, and I whispered, "Do you really think of me as a patient?"
He smiled and shook his head, "No, I just remembered what Doctor said and knew you definitely wouldn't go out to buy these things, so I brought you some. It won't spoil anytime soon, so take your time eating."
Before I could say anything else, Zhuo Feng took over the conversation: "You're being polite now, bringing gifts when you go out."
Su Qian already had a good relationship with him and casually replied, "Isn't it normal for me to bring gifts? But you, after finally coming to the goddess's house, came empty-handed. I think you really should stay single for life."
As they chatted, both of them sat down on Mina's sofa.
I sat in one of the single sofas while Mina took a chair opposite Zhuo Feng.
Once they stopped talking, she finally spoke up: "No one can be poorer than you two. You meet and immediately start this way; don't you find it annoying?"
When Su Qian was with them, his personality was quite lively. He directly asked, "Isn't it annoying for girls to huddle together watching dramas?"
Zhuo Feng punched him lightly and pretended to glare at him, saying, "How can you talk to my goddess like that?"
Seeing that a good conversation opportunity was about to be wasted again, I hurriedly interrupted them: "Alright, since the goddess is sitting here, can I—this burden of the goddess—say a few words?"
Su Qian immediately looked at me.
His lips moved slightly, as if he wanted to say something, but I spoke up before he could open his mouth.

Su Qian frowned slightly and waited until I finished speaking before softly saying, "I didn't find it troublesome; you're overthinking it. And since you consider me a friend, there's no need to call me Mr. Su anymore."
It seemed my humor did not lighten the mood; instead, Zhuo Feng interjected to ease the tension: "Let's not be so polite. Although I wasn't very familiar with Anan before, now that we can sit here together, we can consider ourselves good friends, right? So Anan, you don't need to keep thanking everyone; just express your thoughts directly, and we can all brainstorm together for better solutions."
I lowered my head and took a long time to find my voice: "I want to divorce Xiao Minxing, but I'm pregnant now, and he has never agreed to our divorce before, so this might be a bit difficult."
I looked up at them; everyone was silent.
Su Qian kept his head down, Zhuo Feng looked at Mina, and Mina stared at the cup in front of her.
After a long while, Mina finally spoke on my behalf: "What Anan means is that she wants to resolve this matter without any disputes between both parties and without it getting into the media."
Zhuo Feng immediately asked as soon as she finished speaking: "Wait, why do you two want to get divorced?"
Mina quickly turned to look at him; her gaze was not fierce, but Zhuo Feng had already closed his mouth.
Now that things had come to this point, I didn't want to hold back any longer. Even if they didn't know before today, they would find out that my marriage with Xiao Minxing was not going well. It was better for me to speak up myself rather than let others talk about it.
"I have not been compatible with him since we got married. It's either arguments or cold wars. Now that we have a child, I worry about the impact on the child, which is why I want a divorce."
Zhuo Feng probably still felt grateful for what happened during our last trip to Yunnan, so he asked, "Now that you have a child, Xiao Zong should change his attitude a bit, right? He doesn't seem like such a cold person. Maybe it won't come to divorce."

I looked up at Mina; she was looking at me with a calm yet helpless expression.
Zhuo Feng's eyes were still on her but he didn't say anything further.
Su Qian was staring at the cup of water on the coffee table. He hadn't taken a sip but didn't shift his gaze either.
After a few minutes, he tilted his head slightly and asked me directly, "Have you really made up your mind to get a divorce?"
I didn't know why, but although Mina had asked me similar questions many times and I had answered clearly each time, when Su Qian asked me like this, I suddenly felt a dull pain and couldn't even open my mouth; I could only nod stiffly in response.
His smile had already faded. His handsome features were still exquisite, but he seemed to lack some masculinity and instead had an indescribable softness.
His eyes were now fixed on mine as he asked without hesitation, "What will happen to the child after it's born?"
"I'll raise it myself."
"Based on my understanding of Xiao Zong, he probably wouldn't agree. Even if you two got divorced, he would still want the child back. A person like him always insists on keeping what belongs to him."
Zhuo Feng nudged him with his foot and gestured with his eyes.
I knew he was trying to remind Su Qian not to say too much, but I was equally aware of Xiao Minxing's personality.
He truly is like that; he doesn't care for other people's things, but once something is labeled as his, no one can easily take it away. Even if that thing is of no use to him, he would rather let it rot than let someone else benefit from it.
I am a living example. He doesn't love me and even gets sick at the sight of me, but since we are already married, he won't easily let go.
To put it nicely, it's a case of preferring to shatter like jade than to remain whole like pottery; to put it bluntly, it's extreme obsession.
In fact, Su Qian just voiced what I wanted to say but didn't dare to. It seems he understands Xiao Minxing better than I do.
"I've already told him the child isn't his; he shouldn't be so fixated, right?"
I said softly, lacking confidence in my words.
Su Qian remained silent for a moment before turning to Mina and Zhuo Feng and asking, "Do you two have any thoughts?"
Mina had been with me the whole time, and we had discussed many issues beforehand from a female perspective. Since we were discussing Xiao Minxing now, she chose not to speak and instead glanced at Zhuo Feng.
