Even now, talking about this issue made me tense all over and break out in a cold sweat.

I just remembered that Xiao Minxing once told me that Mina's ex-boyfriend might be that man in black. But now, when she talks about this person, she seems completely objective, as if she doesn't know him at all.

But it's good that he was saving someone; if he had been hurting someone, it would have been a bigger issue."
We had to set aside the topic of Mina's ex-boyfriend for now and focused on discussing what could be seen in the surveillance footage.
Mina stared at the ceiling for a while and then glanced at the Entrance before softly saying, "This matter probably isn't just Jin Ke's doing."
"What do you mean? Does she have accomplices?" I couldn't recall any other enemies Jin Ke might have besides herself.
But Mina cautiously replied, "Xiao Minxing might have a different perspective on this. Why don't you wait for him to come back and tell you?"
I couldn't guarantee that Xiao Minxing would share this information with me; he had always kept things from me. When something happened, he would want to bottle me up, keeping me close while not letting me see anyone or know anything. That way, he felt safe. With Mina here and before he threatened her not to tell me anything, I needed to seize the opportunity to ask. Otherwise, I would be a fool.
So in my anxiety, I suddenly felt pain all over my body. Not only did I fail to succeed in my attempt, but I also grimaced in pain and fell back down.
Mina hurried over to help me and said, "Why are you getting so worked up? If there's something to say, just say it. You think you can pry my mouth open if you get up?"
