However, before I could even make the call, I spotted a familiar figure at the bar entrance.
Su Qian, yes, it was him.
He had his arms around a woman, leaning down and laughing as he spoke to her.
The woman was wearing a very low-cut dress, exposing most of her cleavage.
I couldn't hear what Su Qian said to her, but the woman let out a series of bell-like laughs, and with each laugh, her whole body trembled. I almost wanted to rush over and pull her dress up, genuinely worried that it might not cover her completely and everything would spill out.
Su Qian smiled and glanced down into her cleavage a couple of times, lowering his head even further. I felt that if I didn't speak up soon, he might perform an R-rated scene right in front of all of us. It wasn't just me; Zhuo Feng and Mina also noticed him and were staring intently in his direction.
"Su Qian! Su Qian! What are you doing here? I was just about to call you!" I took a few steps forward and called out his name loudly.
Finally, Su Qian lifted his head. However, he showed no signs of embarrassment; instead, he naturally pulled the woman closer and said, "Oh, you guys are here too! Hey, how long has it been since we all got together? Come on, it's on me today."
Well then, now that everyone was gathered, it was difficult for me to back out. The thought of asking Su Qian for help completely vanished because he was still wrapped around that woman, occasionally glancing at her chest with a lecherous look as if he wanted to take her right there.

However, Zhuo Feng had a different mindset. He seemed to sense his disadvantage in front of Longwen. Seeing Su Qian was like seeing an ally; after all, the three of them used to have a good relationship.
After getting over her initial surprise, Mina regained her composure and shot a glance at the woman with a somewhat indifferent attitude before going back to drink her own alcohol.
The woman clearly looked like someone who had been in the nightlife scene for a long time. Although she continued flirting with Su Qian, she occasionally glanced our way. Of course, being smart as she was, she must have sensed that the atmosphere was off, so she obediently kept quiet and clung tightly to Su Qian like a little lamb.
I felt extremely awkward, especially in front of Ye Guang.
Ye Guang looked like an adult but actually had the mentality of a child. Seeing this would surely have a negative impact on him psychologically. I couldn't fix these chaotic relationships between men and women; I could only try to keep Ye Guang company with some water.

Mina maintained her own state throughout this ordeal. I couldn't help but admire her; despite the bloody chaos happening around us due to hidden conflicts, she managed to keep an air of nonchalance while simply sipping her drink without glancing sideways.
Zhuo Feng and Longwen were still competing, but Zhuo Feng's situation was clearly dire. He not only lost to Longwen in terms of his own temperament but also had the identity of a "former" boyfriend, and now that he was married, he had no justification to face Mina confidently.
However, his masculine instincts seemed to drive him not to lose, so in the end, he sought help from Su Qian.
I don't know if that woman was truly stunning beyond compare or if Su Qian had already seen through everything and simply didn't want to help them, but she ended up getting drunk after only a few drinks and collapsed onto that woman's body.
Well, now Longwen had successfully gained the upper hand, sitting with Mina like a pair of neighboring countries that had defeated someone coveting their territory, exuding an air of superiority that no one could rival.
I couldn't stand it any longer and pulled Ye Guang out, asking him if he wanted to stay at my place for the night.
To my surprise, he said no and insisted on going back to the house he rented with Longwen. He didn't even wait for me to persuade him before he left on his own.
Worried about further incidents, I hurriedly followed him, managing to get him into the car after some coaxing, and then headed toward Longwen's place.
By the time Xiao Minxing arrived, Ye Guang had already taken a shower, washed his clothes, and was preparing for bed.
Since I was uneasy, I stayed there for almost two hours.
There was no news from Mina, no news from Longwen, and Zhuo Feng and Su Qian were even less worth mentioning. I had made countless calls, but not a single person answered or returned my messages.
Xiao Minxing looked around the room and said, "There's nothing going on here; let's go home."

I didn't want to stay either; I could only ask him to try calling Longwen again.
He pouted and said, "Come on! It’s not every day you get a chance like this with Mina; they might be doing something interesting right now. If you make me call over there, aren't you afraid Mina will come over tomorrow and kill your husband?"
Hearing this made me remember how Mina had acted tonight; it really did seem like she had ulterior motives.
Could it be that Longwen was already with her now?
No matter what they say, we really have to go home. There’s nowhere to sleep here, and I haven’t seen Xiao Zhe for a whole day. Even sitting here makes me uneasy.
Finally, Xiao Minxing gritted his teeth and said, “How about this? You go back first. I’ll wait here for a while. Whenever he comes back, I’ll go back too. Mina has to work tomorrow; they can’t possibly be crazy enough to stay out until dawn.”
I leaned against him and didn’t get up for a long time.
I really wanted to leave with him, but I was also worried about the situation here.
“Forget it. Anyway, Sister Liu and Sister Wang are at home. Let’s just wait here for him to come back.”
The two of us leaned on the sofa in the living room, feeling both tired and sleepy, while our minds were still troubled.

After a long while, Xiao Minxing said, “I didn’t expect Longwen to really take care of him for so long.”
I was surprised by that too. Not to mention him; every one of us would be reluctant if we had to wholeheartedly take care of someone with intellectual disabilities who isn’t family or a close friend. Moreover, I felt that Longwen’s behavior didn’t seem like someone who just hangs around nightclubs singing.
He once told me he would go to work at night, but what has Ye Guang been doing all this time while he was at work?
