Several carriages slowly left the Luo residence, with Luo Fu shyly standing beside her husband, bowing to her parents. Behind the master and mistress of the Luo family, Luo Fu's elder brother was also whispering something to his delicate wife. Once Luo Fu and her husband boarded the carriage, her brother patted his wife's hand, turned around, and swiftly mounted his chestnut horse.

Old Beggar said as he brushed aside the hair from his forehead. He looked much more handsome than before, especially after the terrifying birthmark on his face had disappeared. Xing Ruyi understood even more why Deer Lady had fallen for this Pixiu. That kind of youthful exuberance was not something just anyone could possess.
“Any business that Lord Pixiu engages in must be excellent. Could you share a bit to satisfy the strong curiosity of Fox Demon?”
Fox Demon clasped their hands together in a flattering manner.
The fox glanced sideways and replied, “You are the manager of the Rouge shop; this Pixiu eats your food, stays in your place, and even wants to take you away. You only need to ask him directly; there's no need to act so obsequiously. Am I right? Lord Pixiu!”

“What will happen to April?”

Her husband rode slowly away, glancing back three times as he reached the front of the wedding procession.
Master Luo turned back toward the mansion, followed closely by Madam Luo. Young Lady Yunxi, wanting to linger at the door a bit longer, was startled by the cold glare shot at her by her mother-in-law as she passed by.
The look from her mother-in-law was colder than the new spring snow and sharper than icicles hanging from the eaves.
Yunxi shivered and bowed: "Your daughter-in-law respectfully sees you off, Mother!"
Her mother-in-law let out a cold hum, making Yunxi quickly lower her head even further and then follow closely behind into the Ruo Mansion.
The two large doors of the Ruo Mansion slowly closed behind Yunxi.
"No matter whose precious daughter enters our Luo Family, taking on our surname means she should bear children for us and continue our lineage. Yunxi, think carefully about how many years you have been married into our family. Has your husband ever treated you poorly? Have your in-laws ever been harsh with you? Ask yourself again if you have the face to stand here in front of our ancestors in this ancestral hall and speak to them about the Luo Family?"
