After speaking, she turned and walked towards the elevator, leaving Jiang Lanyue and Xi Cheng exchanging glances.
"This... this is too dramatic, isn't it?" Jiang Lanyue said through gritted teeth, lowering her voice.
Xi Cheng's face turned pale, and he remained silent, clenching his fists tightly.
He knew that this was all a deliberate arrangement by the production team to create buzz and gain attention.

"Tch, so dramatic," Jiang Lanyue scoffed, turning her back on Xi Cheng. She got up and walked over to the water dispenser, filling a cup and drinking from it.
Xi Cheng watched her graceful silhouette, his gaze gradually becoming profound.
"Alright, that's it for today's recording. Thank you all for your hard work!" the host clapped his hands and announced.
The staff began to pack up the props, and the guests started to rise and prepare to leave.
"Yueyue, wait a moment!" Ming Can called out to Jiang Lanyue as she hurried over.
"What is it?" Jiang Lanyue asked, looking at her in confusion.
"Are you really going to let Xi Cheng help you fulfill your wish?" Ming Can asked in a lowered voice. "Aren't you afraid he might make some outrageous demands?"
"What kind of outrageous demands could he possibly make?" Jiang Lanyue replied dismissively. "At most, he might just ask me to treat him to a meal or sing karaoke or something."
"What if..." Ming Can started to say something else but was interrupted by Jiang Lanyue.
"Alright, stop worrying unnecessarily. I'm leaving now!" Jiang Lanyue waved at her and turned to exit the studio.
In the evening, Jiang Lanyue returned home, washed up, and lay in bed while scrolling through her phone.
Suddenly, a message popped up on WeChat from Xi Cheng:
"What are you doing?"
Jiang Lanyue hesitated for a moment before replying, "Getting ready to sleep. What about you?"
"Not yet, I'm reading a script."
"Oh."
"Are you free tomorrow night?"
"What's up?"
"I want to treat you to dinner as a reward for winning the competition."
It was then that Jiang Lanyue remembered Xi Cheng mentioning earlier in the day during the recording that he would tell her how to fulfill her wish once he figured it out.

"What do you want to eat?" Xi Cheng asked while driving.
"Anything is fine; I'm not picky," Jiang Lanyue replied casually.
Xi Cheng drove the car to a high-end restaurant and stopped in front of it.
"How about this restaurant?" Xi Cheng turned to look at Jiang Lanyue and asked.

They walked into the restaurant and sat down at a table by the window.

Jiang Lanyue casually flipped through the menu when suddenly her gaze landed on one dish:
"Sweet and Sour Ribs."
It was her favorite dish and also one that Xi Cheng was best at making.
"Let's go with this," Jiang Lanyue said, pointing at the "Sweet and Sour Ribs."
Xi Cheng was slightly taken aback but then smiled and nodded, "Okay."
After ordering, Xi Cheng asked, "How have you been lately?"
"I'm doing well. How about you?"
"I'm good too."
The two of them chatted casually, but the atmosphere was a bit awkward.
To ease the tension, Xi Cheng raised his glass and said to Jiang Lanyue, "Come on, let's toast to you."
Jiang Lanyue picked up her glass, lightly clinked it with his, and then took a small sip.
"By the way, our production team has a 'Truth or Dare' segment tomorrow night. Do you have any thoughts on it?" Xi Cheng suddenly asked.

"Wow!" The audience erupted in excitement.
"Please listen to the question!" The host opened the question board and read aloud, "Please reenact the most unforgettable moment from when you broke up!"
At this statement, the entire venue was in an uproar.
"No way, is the production team really going this far?"
"This is too explosive!"
"I can't wait to see this!"

The audience buzzed with anticipation for the upcoming "show."

Before Jiang Lanyue could respond, a chorus of boos erupted from the audience.

"We want to see the breakup reenactment!"
The crowd's uproar grew louder, nearly shaking the roof of Broadcast Studio.
"It seems we have no choice," Jiang Lanyue said with a wry smile, shaking her head. Taking a deep breath, she told Xi Cheng, "Let's just get it over with."
"Alright," Xi Cheng nodded and walked to the center of the stage, signaling for staff to bring over two chairs.
They sat down facing each other, and under the stage lights, it felt as if they were transported back to that night filled with sadness and helplessness.
Silence spread between the two, and the air around them seemed to freeze.
"You go first," Jiang Lanyue said, breaking the silence.
"Okay," Xi Cheng replied, clearing his throat as he slowly began, "That night, I..."
He paused, seemingly organizing his thoughts, his gaze wandering and unable to meet Jiang Lanyue's eyes.
"I... actually waited for you that night. I waited all night for you..."
"I know," Jiang Lanyue said softly, a hint of bitterness flashing in her eyes.
"You know?" Xi Cheng suddenly looked up, surprise filling his eyes.
"Yes," Jiang Lanyue nodded. "I was downstairs at your place, watching your room's light stay on all night."
"Then why... why didn't you come find me?" Xi Cheng's voice trembled slightly.
"I..." Jiang Lanyue hesitated, her eyes reddening.
"I saw you with Lin Wan'er."
"Lin Wan'er?" Xi Cheng was taken aback for a moment before realizing, "You mean my cousin?"
"Cousin?" Jiang Lanyue looked at him in surprise. "Didn't you say before..."
"That was a misunderstanding! My relationship with her is just like that of siblings. She came to see me that night because..."
Before Xi Cheng could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by a sudden voice.
