Li Ruolan, drenched and cold, staggered to the entrance of the World Book Bureau, carrying her wet luggage and a basin of toiletries. She approached the security guard at the door.

Li Ruolan asked the Nurse, "Then where is he?"
"He had something to attend to and left first. Don't worry; he will come back tomorrow to take you home."
Reassured by the Nurse, Li Ruolan lay back down in her hospital bed.

Accompanied by the butler Ma An, Cheng Shuping returned home from the Zhou family. As she walked into the courtyard, she instructed the butler, "Ma An, from now on, Zhou Junsheng's daily needs are entirely your responsibility. If anything goes wrong, I'll hold you accountable."
Ma An asked Cheng Shuping, "What should I do if Chairman Zhou is feeling very unwell?"
