Hearing this, Yun Baichen looked up at the sky, then stood up and picked up an oiled paper umbrella from the corner, handing it to Yun Jiu. "Take this umbrella back with you. Be careful on the way, and don't slip."

As soon as she returned to the courtyard, Chunyu rushed over. "Miss, why did you come back without an umbrella? You're soaked! And there's mud—did you fall? Are you hurt?"
Yun Jiu waved her hand dismissively to indicate that she was fine. The first thing she did wasn't checking for injuries but quickly retrieving the pouch of money hidden inside her clothing. Seeing that it was completely dry brought her immense relief. Thankfully, she had been clever enough to wear the outfit given by Di Jue underneath; otherwise, that pouch would have been ruined.
Yun Jiu pulled out a large stack of silver notes from her money pouch and handed them to Chun Yu. "Chun Yu, please keep this money for me."

With that thought, Yun Jiu felt like jumping for joy. She couldn't wait to try out this bold idea and see if it would work. So she rushed out into the courtyard and looked up at the darkening sky filled with clouds, ready to welcome the impending storm…
