Duanmu Xue had been fully prepared, secretly gathering strength, waiting for the Shadow Leopard to attack again so she could strike hard. However, passive defense was not her style.

The intensity of the battle forced Lufan and the others to retreat to avoid being caught in the crossfire. The situation had escalated beyond their ability to intervene; even the Twin sisters' arrows were of no help as they could not find a clear shot.
"This situation seems a bit dire," Lufan observed. Although it appeared that the battle had reached a stalemate so far, as the saying goes, prolonged defense leads to inevitable loss. As long as Duanmu Xue remained on the defensive, any slight mistake could have catastrophic consequences; the Shadow Leopard would tear her apart in an instant.
However, the others did not share his concerns. Zhao Xingjian kept his eyes fixed on the battlefield and said, "Don't worry, Big Sister will be fine. She's a genius—a true combat genius.
