I returned home. 0
In the living room, there was someone sitting. 0
I turned on the light and saw Lu Yu sitting on the sofa. 0
"You finally came back," Lu Yu said, looking at me calmly. 0
"What... are you doing here?" I asked, surprised to see Lu Yu. 0
"I've been looking for you for a long time," he replied. 0
He stood up and walked over to me. 0
He knelt down in front of me and took my hand. 0
"Song Yao, I won't let you get hurt again." 0
I looked at Lu Yu's face, feeling his determination and possessiveness. 0
I knew I had never loved him. 0
But his obsession with me made me feel somewhat dependent. 0
"Song Yao, I love you," Lu Yu said softly, looking into my eyes. 0
"I can give you real love, real protection." 0
I gazed at him, feeling confused. 0
I didn't know if I could accept his feelings. 0
Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang. 0
I stood up and looked through the peephole, seeing a familiar figure. 0
It was Ning Jing. 0
He looked a bit tired, but his gaze was exceptionally firm. 0
Why was he here? 0
I felt a bit anxious. 0
I opened the door and looked at Ning Jing. 0
"You... what are you doing here?" I asked, feeling flustered. 0

"I came to find you." 0
Ning Jing looked at me, his tone firm. 0
"Find me?" 0
I was taken aback. 0
Ning Jing stared at me, silent for a moment before speaking again. 0
"Song Yao, I don't want to avoid my feelings any longer." 0
I gazed blankly at Ning Jing, unsure of what to say. 0
Ning Jing... Is he confessing to me? 0
Ning Jing continued, "Song Yao, I know you are suffering just like I am." 0
"There are too many misunderstandings and barriers between us." 0
"But I want to tell you that in my heart, there has only ever been you." 0
As Ning Jing spoke, his voice trembled slightly. 0
A look of pain crossed his face. 0
"I have always been afraid to face my feelings because I feared losing again." 0
"But now I understand that if I don't fight for it, I will truly lose." 0
Ning Jing looked at me with burning eyes. 0
"Song Yao, let's stop tormenting each other, okay?" 0
"Let's give our marriage another chance, shall we?" 0
There was a hint of pleading in Ning Jing's tone. 0
I looked at him, my heart filled with mixed emotions. 0
I had never seen Ning Jing like this before. 0
He had always been indifferent and proud in front of me. 0
But now, he had set aside his dignity and was asking me to reconcile. 0
I knew he must have gone through intense struggles within himself. 0
Every word he said came from the heart. 0
He was right; there were indeed too many misunderstandings between us. 0
We had been tormenting and hurting each other. 0
Yet, we were also deeply in love. 0
If we could let go of the shadows of the past, if we could accept each other again... 0

Perhaps our future will be different. I am deeply conflicted inside. Ning Jing's confession has given me hope. But I cannot forgive him so easily. I need to confirm whether he truly has only me in his heart. 0

"Ning Jing, I... need to think," I said softly as I looked at him. Ning Jing nodded. "Okay, I'll wait for you." Then he left. 0

I closed the door and leaned against it, unable to calm my emotions. At that moment, I suddenly felt that there seemed to be another person in the living room. I turned my head and saw Lu Yu standing in the corner of the room. He was looking at me with a complex expression. There was an invisible sense of pressure on his face. 0

"Song Yao, have you made up your mind?" Lu Yu asked in a low tone as he gazed at me. I felt a bit scared. I knew that Lu Yu's obsession with me had reached an unbreakable point. If I chose Ning Jing, then what would happen to him... I couldn't bear to imagine. 0

I stood at the door, looking at the two people before me. I knew that my choice now would determine my future. 0
