Lin Feng had been to Liu Family Village before, so he naturally drove in the direction of Liu Family Village. The last time Lin Feng visited, he was driven around by Chen Sheng, and they happened to pass by the village that Liu Yanran mentioned over the phone. Since Lin Feng had a photographic memory, he had no trouble driving to the village Liu Yanran referred to.
Soon, Lin Feng arrived at the village. He got out of the car and dialed the phone number that Liu Yanran had given him earlier. He knew that a smart woman like Liu Yanran would be waiting there.
Unless something unexpected happened.
"Hello..." The call connected quickly, and soon he heard Liu Yanran's voice.
"Is this Yanran?" Lin Feng recognized her voice but still asked cautiously.
"Yes, it's Lin Feng, right? I'm at the Wangzai Convenience Store in this village. Come over," Liu Yanran said, clearly waiting for his call and promptly providing the name of the convenience store.
"Okay, I've arrived at the village. Wait for me; I'll be there soon," Lin Feng replied while using his powerful Mental Power to scan the surroundings. With his current Mental Power, it wasn't difficult to locate where Liu Yanran was in the village.
Sure enough, Lin Feng quickly pinpointed Liu Yanran's location.
"Liu Yanran..." He called out as he walked briskly toward her.
"Lin Feng, you finally made it," Liu Yanran said with a look of joy upon seeing him. She knew that perhaps only Lin Feng could save the people inside Liu Family Village—her family.
"What's the situation? Tell me," Lin Feng asked as Liu Yanran wiped off any traces of water from herself.
"Follow me; let's talk as we walk. We're heading to Liu Family Village now," Liu Yanran said decisively, snapping back to focus and not wanting to waste a single second.
"Alright, let's go," Lin Feng understood her urgency and followed her without delay.
Along the way, Liu Yanran briefly explained the situation to Lin Feng, sharing everything she deemed necessary for him to know.
"Wait, you said there's someone whose cultivation is about the same as your Grandpa's, and he's with Hong Jin. Who is he, and why did he team up with Hong Jin to attack Liu Family Village?" Lin Feng quickly asked after hearing this.
"I don't know for now, and there's no way to find out. Although it's best to clarify the situation before we go, at least to know who that other group is, I just sat quietly in the convenience store for a while and still have no impression of those people. I'm sure they are not locals from City A," Liu Yanran replied. She understood Lin Feng's doubts but was also unsure why, fearing that if she pushed him to rescue someone recklessly, he might refuse.
"Alright, we'll find out who they are when we get there. Let's hurry; if we delay, we might not be able to help," Lin Feng said. He understood Liu Yanran's intentions. Initially, he thought she was a spoiled rich girl, but now it seemed she was quite considerate of others. So he stopped hesitating because he knew that if he wavered, he might end up being too late to save anyone.
If he delayed the opportunity to rescue someone for this reason, Lin Feng felt he would definitely be uneasy in the future; at the very least, he would regret it.

Although she had seen him break through the protective formation of Liu Family's Back Mountain last time she followed him, she hadn't seen how he fought directly. So while she knew Lin Feng was skilled, her impression wasn't very deep. Now, seeing him take down several guards with just a flick of his hand was even more shocking.
"Let's go check inside," Lin Feng said after taking down a few minor thugs without feeling any remorse for their weakness. He waved at Liu Yanran and continued.
After saying that, Lin Feng led the way forward while Liu Yanran closely followed behind him.
Along the way, Lin Feng dealt with a few more minor enemies until they finally reached the entrance of Liu Family's Back Mountain.
“Liu Fei!” Lin Feng never expected that the person leading the siege against Liu Family Village was actually Liu Fei, he thought to himself.
Everyone here was skilled, and Lin Feng did not dare to be careless. He and Liu Yanran hid nearby.
“Do you know him?” Liu Yanran asked, sensing from Lin Feng's words and expression that he might know the leader of the group attacking Liu Family Village. She was a bit scared, fearing that this person might be an old acquaintance of Lin Feng.
Indeed, if this person were an old acquaintance of Lin Feng, Liu Yanran would be worried that Lin Feng might turn against them. She knew that Lin Feng was her only hope now; if he betrayed them, Liu Family would truly be finished.
“Hmph, he’s my rival. Yanran, I think this situation is not as simple as it seems. Their alliance against your Liu Family might involve some sort of deal. From what I know, Liu Fei values profit above all else,” Lin Feng shared his speculation with Liu Yanran, clearly stating his position. He could sense the worry in her heart.

“The opponent is strong; we need to plan carefully,” Lin Feng said, aware of Liu Fei's strength. With him here, there were too many variables in play.
“Yeah, let’s plan carefully. But right now, they’ve blocked signals in Back Mountain; you need to understand this,” Liu Yanran regarded Lin Feng as her main support and could only provide him with whatever information she had.
“Yeah, I figured as much; otherwise, you wouldn’t have run out to call me,” Lin Feng replied without surprise at the information provided by Liu Yanran.
“By the way, how did you manage to avoid their guards and escape?” Although Lin Feng suspected that the other side had blocked signals in Back Mountain, he still didn’t know how Liu Yanran managed to get out.
“Well, it’s because when I was a child, I found a small hole leading outside while playing around. So I escaped through there,” Liu Yanran said with a look of joy. For her, being able to think of this escape route in such a critical moment gave hope for saving the people of Liu Family.
“Good. By the way, how much time do we have left to prepare? It seems like the energy contained in the protective formation of Back Mountain is weakening,” Lin Feng analyzed the situation while asking Liu Yanran.
“I don’t know, but it shouldn’t last much longer. After you broke the formation last time, Grandpa was very pleased. "Sure, I have no problem with that. But won't you be putting yourself in danger?" Liu Yanran was confident in her own abilities, as she planned to break through from the weakest point of attack, but she was worried about Lin Feng.
"Don't worry about me. Just focus on getting into the formation and informing Grandpa and the others. I'll wait outside for you to come out and meet up with me," Lin Feng reassured her while understanding her concern. He knew that with his involvement in the battle, the chances of victory for the Liu Family would increase.
After all, they had to settle things with the Hong Family sooner or later, and they couldn't afford to delay any longer. So Lin Feng decided to take the initiative; that way, they could gain an advantage without harming themselves.
"Okay, once I get into the formation, I'll notify Grandpa and them immediately. We'll come out to help you right away. You must be careful! By the way, this jade belongs to our Liu Family. As long as you wear this jade, you'll be able to enter and exit the formation freely. Please use it wisely," Liu Yanran understood that they couldn't waste time and agreed to Lin Feng's plan. She took out a piece of jade that she had kept close and handed it to Lin Feng while explaining its purpose.
"This is not appropriate; this is something only members of your Liu Family possess. I'm an outsider; it's not right for me to take it," Lin Feng initially refused, having never considered entering the formation.
