"Oh, I see! By the way, Lin Feng, there's something I need to tell you..." Su Rong thought for a moment and decided to inform Lin Feng about her ex-husband reaching out to her and discuss it with him.
"Oh? What is it?" Lin Feng noticed that Su Rong was finally getting to the point and pretended to be clueless.
"It's like this. I don't know how my ex-husband found out that I have this Prescription, but he contacted me." Since Su Rong had decided to tell Lin Feng, she spoke directly.
"Well, Rong Jie, what do you mean by that?" Lin Feng was more interested in knowing Su Rong's attitude at this moment.
"He is no longer my husband; I have no obligation to listen to him!" Su Rong stated firmly to Lin Feng.
"Oh, so you rejected him?" Lin Feng continued to feign ignorance and asked.
"Yes, I directly rejected him, but he still won't give up!" As Su Rong said this, a look of disgust appeared on her face, indicating that her ex-husband was indeed quite a jerk.
"What does he want?" Lin Feng continued to ask, pleased with Su Rong's response.
"He wants to meet with me, but I haven't responded yet!" Su Rong continued.
"Well, meeting him might be good; you can clarify everything." Lin Feng thought for a moment and said to Su Rong.
"Yes, that's what I think too, but I feel it's inappropriate for me to meet him alone, so..." Su Rong hesitated at this point.
In fact, Su Rong meant that she wanted Lin Feng to accompany her, but upon reflection, she realized that Lin Feng had no obligation to go with her. After all, she still hadn't figured out why Lin Feng was suddenly helping her like this, let alone asking him to accompany her to meet that jerk.

"Thank you so much for helping me, Lin Feng. Really, I can't thank you enough!" Su Rong felt grateful for Lin Feng's easygoing nature and recalled all the help he had given her recently. She thought her luck had been incredible these past few days; she had met Lin Feng because of Xiao Ling's illness. Since then, Lin Feng had been like a guardian angel, always appearing when she needed help the most. She felt deeply touched.
"Rong Jie, don't mention it!" Lin Feng simply replied lightly and fell silent. He knew in his heart that his efforts to help Su Rong were entirely due to the feelings Xiao Ling evoked in him.
Because of the connection he felt with Xiao Ling, Lin Feng believed he was right to help Su Rong.
Well, Lin Feng had to admit that helping a beautiful woman like Su Rong motivated him quite a bit!

Lin Feng understood this principle well, so he made an effort to care for Liu Yan. He believed that she wouldn't let him down.
After getting off the bus and parting ways with Liu Yan, Lin Feng returned to his place without even changing his clothes. He drove directly to Su Rong's residence. Just moments ago, Su Rong had called to tell him she was waiting for him at home.
Upon arriving at Su Rong's house, Lin Feng exchanged greetings with Xiao Ling. The two chatted casually in the room; Lin Feng enjoyed these conversations with Xiao Ling.

So when he arrived at Su Rong's house, the first thing Lin Feng did after greeting Su Rong was to chat with Xiao Ling; as for everything else, he decided to set it aside for now.
