In their establishment, once you ordered food, you had to pay regardless of whether you ate it or not.
"What? What did he order?" Li Shuzhen was genuinely surprised that Wang Jin could be so inconsiderate as to leave without paying. Was this even what a man should do?
"Here is your table's bill; please take a look," the waiter said, noticing Li Shuzhen's current state and assuming she might not have cash on her. "Come on, Li Zhong, since it's our first meeting, let's have a toast," Lin Feng said, raising his glass toward Li Shuzhen.

"Well, to my earlier rudeness, I will drink this as a gesture of respect," Lin Feng said as he downed his drink.
Seeing Lin Feng finish his drink like that, Li Shuzhen also drank it all in one go. Clearly, she felt it was necessary to keep him company for this toast.
