Although her words sounded somewhat convoluted, Lin Feng knew that Li Shuzhen's mood must be quite good at that moment.
Lin Feng understood that in Li Shuzhen's position, dealing with pressure was common. As a friend, allowing her some relaxation during private time might greatly benefit her mental and physical health.

"Hmph... Do you look down on women? Fine, I'll drink too," Li Shuzhen responded with a huff.
That night, Lin Feng and Li Shuzhen sang and drank together. In the end, they managed to finish off the collection of wines that Li Shuzhen had kept for years. By the end of the night, Li Shuzhen could no longer handle her alcohol and collapsed onto the sand before falling asleep.
Li Shuzhen works in Public Relations, which naturally involves a lot of dining and drinking. At the table, certain so-called "bosses" with ulterior motives often do their best to persuade her to drink. Once at the bedside, Lin Feng simply took off her shoes and laid her down on the bed before covering her with a blanket.
After doing all this, Lin Feng checked the time and realized it was already 2 AM. He slapped his forehead; although he had a good tolerance for alcohol and was protected by Internal Energy, he still felt somewhat tipsy since he had been drinking out of joy that night. So he found Li Shuzhen's bathroom and splashed cold water on his face.
After washing his face, Lin Feng felt thirsty. He knew this was the aftereffect of the red wine. Since that was the case, he poured himself several cups of warm water from Li Shuzhen's kitchen. After finishing the warm water, he prepared another cup for Li Shuzhen at the bedside.
Having completed all these tasks, Lin Feng sat on the couch with his head leaning against the backrest. At this point, he felt quite sleepy.

Looking at the blanket covering him, Lin Feng realized that it must have been placed there by Li Shuzhen.
Sitting up, Lin Feng casually reached for the table and found a cup of warm water quietly sitting there. As he looked at the cup, a wave of warmth surged in his heart. He knew that this cup of warm water was probably prepared by Li Shuzhen. Otherwise, although he had prepared a cup of water on the table beside the bed last night, he didn't believe that it would still be warm in such cold weather.
Not too hot, not too cold—just the right temperature.
Just as Lin Feng was lost in thought, a voice came from the kitchen: "Lin Feng, stop daydreaming and go wash your face. I've already prepared toothpaste for you. Hurry up and come out for breakfast; you're going to be late for work."
The voice belonged to Hao Ran, who was Li Shuzhen.
Upon hearing this, Lin Feng went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth with the toothpaste that Li Shuzhen had already squeezed onto his toothbrush. Then he walked out of the bathroom.
"Li Zhong, you really look like a homemaker," Lin Feng teased playfully since he was in a good mood.
"Stop joking around; breakfast is on the table. I'll join you after I finish tidying up," Li Shuzhen replied as she turned around to speak to Lin Feng.
"Okay." Lin Feng didn't hold back and walked toward the dining table, starting to devour his breakfast eagerly.
After a night of heavy drinking, Lin Feng felt no signs of hangover or fatigue when he got up; instead, he felt extremely hungry and ate his breakfast with great enthusiasm.
Seeing Lin Feng like this, Li Shuzhen suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of happiness watching her husband enjoy the breakfast she made.
In the morning, as soon as Li Shuzhen woke up, she immediately recalled what happened last night. Shaking her head, she realized that she must have been drunk. Remembering that it was just the two of them—man and woman—Li Shuzhen suddenly felt a wave of panic in her heart.

After thinking it over, Li Shuzhen found herself unable to sleep and decisively got out of bed.

Looking at her neatly arranged clothes, Li Shuzhen concluded that Lin Feng must have simply moved her from the sofa to the bed last night. With the thick winter clothing she wore, it would have been impossible for Lin Feng to take any liberties.
Of course, if Lin Feng had undressed her and then dressed her again, Li Shuzhen might not have noticed anything amiss. But now that she knew about Lin Feng's gentlemanly conduct from last night, she could not doubt what he had or hadn't done.
In that moment, Li Shuzhen even felt a sense of something lost being regained.
Feeling cheerful, Li Shuzhen noticed a cup of water on her bedside table. After a moment's thought, she realized that this cup of water was likely left for her by Lin Feng out of consideration.
With this in mind, Li Shuzhen picked up the cup and drank it all in one go.
At that moment, although she was drinking cold water, for some reason, Li Shuzhen felt warmth in her heart.
