"They're crazy!" they shouted.
Zhang Xin sat down on the ground, starting to cry uncontrollably.
"Woo woo woo, my pig ran away," she wiped her tears with her left hand and her nose with her right.
Everyone exchanged glances, no one dared to approach.
After crying enough, Zhang Xin stood up and walked towards the mural on the wall.
She reached out her hand, hugging and kissing the male anime character in the mural, calling him "husband."
A scream erupted in the classroom, and everyone rushed outside.
"Ah—help!"
"There's a madwoman!"
The teacher stepped forward to stop Zhang Xin.
As soon as he got close, she grabbed his pants and wouldn't let go, causing him to sweat profusely, fearing she would pull his pants off.
The teacher tried to lift her up, but Zhang Xin suddenly surged forward, pointing at the crowd and shouting, "It's all your fault! It's all your fault!"
The classmates were so scared that they kept retreating; a few brave ones attempted to rescue the teacher, but Zhang Xin became increasingly frantic and stronger, making it impossible for them to hold her down.
Soon, the school police arrived.
Everyone scrambled to restrain Zhang Xin, who had already passed out.
Everyone looked at her sleeping figure with complex expressions.
The counselor rushed over, seeing Zhang Xin lying on the ground, his face pale as he asked what happened.
The classmates all claimed they didn't know, so the counselor had no choice but to send Zhang Xin to the hospital.
Li Yu slammed the table hard, "Phew, my blockage is cleared; she finally got what she deserved!"
Liu Yu laughed as well: "Hmph, let her be dirty-handed while acting like a jerk!"
I looked at them and said calmly, "Don't celebrate too early; when she wakes up, she'll definitely come looking for trouble."
Li Yu and Liu Yu exchanged glances and nodded.
The three of us had come up with a plan to deal with Zhang Xin's provocations. Unexpectedly, three days passed, and Zhang Xin still hadn't returned. We felt a mix of confusion and guilt—had we gone too far?
Just as we were about to call our counselor to inquire about her, Zhang Xin appeared. She blocked the doorway of the classroom, and I bumped right into her. I thought she would start yelling and fighting, so I was prepared for that. Instead, she suddenly knelt down.
“Zhou Xin, please help me,” her voice was filled with desperation.
I was taken aback, and the people around us stopped in their tracks, curiously watching us. “What’s wrong?” I asked.
“My family... sob... my family is all in the hospital,” she cried, tears streaming down her face. “They said Frozen Pufferfish Meat shouldn’t be eaten casually.”
I frowned. “So you ate it?”
Zhang Xin nodded and shook her head at the same time. “I don’t know, I don’t know.”
It was hard to believe that eating Frozen Pufferfish Meat could lead to a hospital visit. “Then why are you looking for me?” I asked.
Zhang Xin continued to cry. “Zhou Xin, I know you have the ability; can you save my family?”
I let out a cold laugh. “How can I save them? I'm not a doctor.”
After saying that, I walked past her into the classroom. Seeing this, Zhang Xin immediately crawled to the classroom entrance and shouted loudly, “Zhou Xin, please! You have such good conditions; you can’t just stand by and watch! I’ll give you anything you want!”
Classmates began to murmur; some sympathized with Zhang Xin while others criticized my indifference. Zhang Xin was still crying as I approached her, squatted down, and leaned close to her ear. “Zhang Xin, I don’t want anything; all I want is for you to be utterly disgraced.”
Zhang Xin froze in shock, looking at me in disbelief.
I smiled and got up to enter the classroom. Zhang Xin blocked my way again in the teaching building. In front of everyone, she knelt down and apologized to me. "Zhou Xin, I was wrong. I shouldn't have stolen from you. My family is in the hospital. Please, help them!"
