Controlling veins was also known as controlling spirits—controlling Spiritual Roots. A disciple with Five Spiritual Roots suddenly becoming a Single Spiritual Root would inevitably accelerate their cultivation speed. The second part, Earth Control, utilized a different method based on Mind Control Techniques—relying entirely on mental focus to control the opening and closing of meridians. Whether a meridian was open or closed depended solely on one's thoughts.
The Earth Control section could only be practiced after establishing a foundation; only after building a solid foundation could one's physical body effectively use Mind Control Techniques.
The Control Vein Technique's Cultivation Method did not include illustrations of the Twelve Meridians or corresponding acupoint diagrams. In Xuan Continent, knowledge of meridians, acupoints, and human anatomy formed the foundational education for martial artists. It was normal for Jin Liaoyuan not to include these details.
