The protective walls are not uncommon in the village, similar to how modern apartments have security bars. People today are very cautious, wanting to make their homes so secure that even mice can't get in. 0

With many uncertainties in the future, when they first arrived at Zhangjia Village, Zhou Miao mentioned this. However, since they were newcomers and the villagers did not understand the situation, hastily installing a protective wall could lead to trouble. Now things are different; Zhang Liang's incident serves as a catalyst. Although the villagers are not entirely pleased with the installation of the protective wall, they won't voice their objections. 0

The principle behind the protective wall is quite simple: buy some iron spikes and place them around the top of the wall, securing them with cement and then electrifying them. If a thief tries to climb over, they will either be severely injured or worse. 0

Wonton and Dumpling still stay at home every day, and every few days Li Yan takes them out for a stroll in the space. After all, Tibetan Mastiffs, while being dogs, are more ferocious than wolves by nature. If Zhang Liang had not been domesticated from a young age and trained specifically for combat, he would have suffered much worse than just a bite. With those sharp fangs, a Tibetan Mastiff could easily cause fatal injuries. From this perspective, the villagers' concerns are not unfounded. 0

The relationship between the villagers and the Li family has become somewhat strained again, despite appearing cordial on the surface. However, everyone seems to have come to an unspoken agreement to avoid walking near the Li family's home; after all, these beasts are not like humans—what if one actually bites? 0

By late July, summer was practically over. On days when temperatures reached thirty-five or thirty-six degrees Celsius, it would only start getting dark around six or seven in the evening, so people wouldn't go to bed too early. Occasionally, one could hear frogs, toads, and various insects chirping in the fields; if listened to closely enough, it felt like an orchestra. 0

Zhangjia Village is not heavily polluted since there are no industrial areas nearby, allowing for good greenery in the area. For instance, there are several ponds not far from Zhangjia Village; although called ponds, they are quite large—typically about ten meters in diameter and two meters deep. 0

After four o'clock every afternoon, these large ponds are filled with people—mostly men and children. Older children can swim on their own while younger ones are often seen with swimming rings. However, very few families buy swimming rings specifically for their children; most use old truck tires instead. These black tires surprisingly work well for floating. Some smaller children find the tires too big, so adults must keep a close eye on them to prevent any accidents. 0

Li Ming also comes to swim every day; partly because it's hot and partly because children naturally gravitate towards lively places—it's just a mindset. However, this directly affects Li Yan as she finds it hard to manage her discomfort during such hot weather while swimming without proper attire. Recently, she has been feeling quite frustrated; every time she gives in to her urges, she has to be careful not to leave any traces behind. While Li Ming is indifferent about it all, Li Yan has many concerns. This situation has put Zhou Miao in high spirits as he encourages Li Ming to swim every day. 0

The rice in their space has matured, so the four of them have become busy again, which means their swimming time has been pushed back. Originally Yu Tian suggested waiting until tomorrow because the river water would be too cold at night; however, the children were unwilling and pouted as if they could hang something on them. The four of them still went swimming in the pond for a while; by the time Li Ming felt comfortable enough to relax in the water, it was already past six o'clock. They often eat fruits and vegetables from their space and feel fine even in cold river water. 0

On their way back, Li Yan was the first to hear sounds coming from a nearby cornfield. Due to concerns about drought this year, many families planted corn; fortunately, it grew very well—rows upon rows became excellent cover. 0

This pond is somewhat distant from the village and with it getting dark outside, it truly is an ideal spot for some outdoor escapades. The sounds from that direction rose and fell; men's groans intertwined with women's gasps could be heard occasionally punctuated by a woman's voice exclaiming: "Zhong... ah!!" 0

The four of them found themselves in a dilemma; they had to pass through that field on their way back or take a longer route around it. After a while, one man finally spoke up: "Damn it! Let's go for another round; no wonder people say outdoor paths are comfortable—it really hits the spot." 0

"Hey now! If you don't head back soon enough your wife will unleash her fury," replied a woman whose voice carried a hint of satisfaction. 0

Great! They stumbled upon a pair of lovers outdoors. Zhou Miao intentionally reached out to Yu Tian's waist and gave it a light touch. Having just emerged from the water and feeling damp all over made Yu Tian freeze momentarily with an annoyed expression on her face. She feared that if they made any noise here they might disturb that couple hidden among the corn stalks; it would be embarrassing for others but even more so for herself. 0

Li Ming opened his big watery eyes curiously looking over there. Having spent many years with Li Yan meant he understood these matters naturally but he couldn't comprehend why those two preferred being out in the field. Just days ago he had accidentally cut his hand on corn leaves—it hurt quite badly! 0

The people inside eventually stopped, and soon a bare-chested man and a woman walked out. Although they were not very close, it was summer and the sky was still bright. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that both of them were familiar faces: one was Zhang Zhong, and the other was the widow Tian Guifang. These two had been plotting how to kill their family members, Wonton and Dumplings. Li Yan and Zhou Miao exchanged glances; it seemed that fate had delivered an opportunity right to their doorstep. 0

The two looked around for a moment, confirming that no one was passing by before they each went their separate ways. Zhang Zhong did not return home immediately; he washed himself in the pond first, mainly to avoid leaving any scent behind. He seemed quite skilled at this task. 0

The four of them could only take a longer route back from the other side. Fortunately, they were in good shape; otherwise, standing for so long would have surely made them sick. 0

After taking a hot shower, the four returned to bed. Li Yan held the little child in his arms; the room had air conditioning, so there was no fear of heat. "Mingming, brother isn't feeling well." 0

"Where?" The child was startled and instinctively reached out to touch Li Yan's forehead, then hurriedly crawled over to press his forehead against Li Yan's. "Brother, it's not hot." 0

Li Yan couldn't help but laugh as he moved the child's hand down until it reached that heated protrusion. "Mingming, brother feels uncomfortable here; it seems he's thinking about Mingming's little flower." 0

The child's face immediately turned bright red, his small ears flushed with warmth. "Brother, bad person!" The child wouldn't connect Li Yan's discomfort with what had just happened in the cornfield, but being held and kissed by Li Yan felt natural enough that he instinctively wrapped his arms around him. 0

The child's body was quite flexible, and since Li Yan always spoiled him, he hadn't been hurt at all. When they were together, he only felt a sense of fullness; his small mouth was entangled with Li Yan's, and his body felt warm... 0

The child hadn't been thoroughly cherished in a long time; his tired little hands couldn't lift themselves anymore as he lay limply on Li Yan. Marks covered his entire body, especially on the inner thighs where there were spots indicating someone's possessiveness. "Brother, next time let's do it just twice," the child calculated. This time brother was too naughty; they had done it four times! Mingming felt so tired. 0

"Mingming, if we do it like that, brother will feel uncomfortable. Would Mingming be heartless enough to let brother suffer?" Li Yan's little self hadn't come out of Li Ming's body yet; he moved intentionally, causing Li Ming's little bottom to stiffen in surprise, even making him whimper. 0

"Then... then three times. Brother, Mingming is tired; so tired." Li Ming felt comfortable too but truly was exhausted. 0

"Okay, whatever Mingming says goes," Li Yan readily agreed. However, how exactly they would carry it out later would depend on the specific situation. 0

Poor Zhou Miao was struggling with love and feeling conflicted. 0

Zhou Miao looked pitifully at Yu Tian, his eyes full of grievance. "Tian Tian, Tian Tian..." 0

"Stop calling me," Yu Tian felt awkward inside; they were all men after all. If he truly didn't know about Zhou Miao's feelings for him, he might as well be dead. But Yu Tian was straightforward; during his graduate studies, he had a very close girlfriend and had gone through those experiences a few times. However, being introverted by nature made him treat such matters with a degree of seriousness. Later on, when he discovered that his girlfriend was with his roommate, it hit Yu Tian hard. 0

Even so, he remained straight and only interested in curvy soft girls. As for Zhou Miao... he absolutely could not believe that Zhou Miao would want to be dominated by him; even thinking about dominating Zhou Miao felt too strange to him. 0

"Every day, every day." Zhou Miao kept murmuring like a child singing a nursery rhyme. 0

Yu Tian had no choice but to move closer to the edge of the bed, only to be flipped over by Zhou Miao, who pinned him down. Yu Tian was no match for Zhou Miao; in just a few moments, he was firmly held down, unable to even turn over. Little Zhou Miao was positioned right between Yu Tian's thighs, so obvious and assertive that Yu Tian couldn't ignore it. "Let go of me! Mmm~~." 0

Zhou Miao was a bit wild; once his tongue slipped in, it swept and conquered all the way until Yu Tian's clever tongue surrendered, allowing saliva to trickle down the corner of his mouth, appearing ambiguous yet sweet. The moment Zhou Miao let down his guard, Yu Tian suddenly bit down hard. Yu Tian thought Zhou Miao would instinctively release him, but instead, the other party forced that rusty taste into his mouth, leaving Yu Tian both frightened and at a loss. 0

It wasn't until Yu Tian was nearly out of breath that Zhou Miao finally let him go, pulling the trembling person into his arms and gently caressing him. "Don't worry; even if I can't help myself, I won't force you. But you have to compensate for this interest. Don't you agree?" 0

"You're such a jerk!" Yu Tian couldn't help but curse. "Let go!" 0

"Don't worry, it's my business that I like you. Once you truly agree, we'll consummate our marriage. Trust me." When Zhou Miao said this, there was an unusual seriousness on his face; although the words sounded quite lewd, Yu Tian couldn't help but relax. 0

He still muttered "jerk" in his heart and thought about that kiss earlier, causing his face to heat up again. Yu Tian had little experience with this; the only few times were with his ex-girlfriend, and later it was just with his fingers. He felt uncomfortable and pushed the person on top of him away. "Get up." 0

"Be good, don't move. If you do, I might lose control." Zhou Miao's face returned to its mischievous and rogue demeanor as he breathed into Yu Tian's ear. Yu Tian was genuinely scared and dared not move; looking at his partner's cute bunny-like appearance made him unable to resist biting his ear. "If I don't move, I can't help myself either." 0

"…" 0

Neither Zhou Miao nor Li Yan were particularly naive people. They hadn't found an opportunity regarding Zhang Liang's matter for some time now, but now it seemed like a pie falling from the sky; they were indeed colluding together. 0

The two decided to stir things up in Zhangjia Village! 0
