Seeing the beast across from them suddenly speak, Liu Guanfeng and the others were even more shocked, as this was a very dangerous warning: the creature they did not recognize was at least a Ninth Tier beast.

Bao Rui chimed in from the side, "Exactly Third Brother! Just now you asked who threw the last two stones; one of them was thrown by me."

"Then let me see how you little ants bite," the beast replied.
As soon as the words left its mouth, the black beast charged forward, using its powerful legs to leap at Liu Guanfeng. However, it had retracted its magical power and was merely toying with Liu Guanfeng and the other boys. Even so, they were no match for it; with a single swipe, the Five People were sent flying.
Fortunately, their Iron Skin Soup had absorbed most of its potency over the past few days, and after being whipped by Xuanwu's vines, they had absorbed even more. Thus, Liu Guanfeng and his companions were now sturdier than before.
The Five Boys scrambled to their feet after being knocked down and quickly surrounded the beast again. While attacking, Liu Guanfeng reminded one of them to go fetch help. However, this time the boy hesitated to follow Liu Guanfeng's instructions; he feared that if he left, as the Black Beast had said, it would tear them apart.
The Five People surrounded the beast once more but were sent flying again within a minute. They got up repeatedly, not knowing how many times they had been knocked down. Eventually, they were too exhausted to stand. The black beast looked around and shook its head. "You are all too weak; this isn't fun at all."
Hearing this, Liu Guanfeng's face twitched in frustration. "Is this what you call fun? We almost got killed!"
At that moment, a figure emerged from the depths of the forest. "I was waiting for you little brats for ages; turns out you were here playing." It was none other than Xuanwu, who had been preparing to teach the boys blacksmithing by the deep pool.

Xuanwu turned to look at the Black Beast beside him. "I say, Little Black, did you attack them?"

Watching Xuanwu and the creature called Little Black exchange banter, Liu Guanfeng and the Five Boys sat on the ground in silence, unsure of what to say. They were so engrossed in watching the two converse that they forgot they were sitting instead of standing.
Xuanwu smiled at Liu Guanfeng and the others. "Why are you still sitting on the ground? Aren't you afraid of catching a chill? Get up!"
Liu Guanfeng approached Xuanwu and tugged at his sleeve, "Xuanwu Master, who is that black beast? It seems like you know it very well."
Xuanwu glanced at Liu Guanfeng and then at the disdainful Little Black beside him. "His name is Little Black, and he also lives in our Four Sacred Valleys. Remember when you first arrived and asked Azure Dragon why we had five houses for four people? I'm telling you now, that fifth house belongs to him."
Liu Guanfeng looked closely at the snorting Little Black. "Master, what kind of beast is this? I can't tell. It doesn't look like a tiger or a lion."
