Liu Guanfeng, Eastern Star, and Song Qun discussed their future plans and important matters to pay attention to, as well as their contact methods. Outside, the sky gradually darkened, and Liu Hong, with the help of several young boys including Song Haitao and Bao Rui, prepared a sumptuous dinner.
As they were getting ready to eat, Liu Guanfeng arranged for Little Black, XP, Fire, and Benben to patrol around the courtyard to prevent anyone from spying on them. He also sent Iron Arm Mantis outside the courtyard to keep watch against the wind. Once everything was in place, Liu Guanfeng joined the others in Eastern Star's room for dinner.
Due to health reasons, Eastern Star and Song Qun had not enjoyed a proper meal in a long time. When they saw the lavish spread laid out before them, Song Qun eagerly joined the young boys in grabbing food. Liu Guanfeng and Eastern Star watched with amused smiles. This was how Liu Guanfeng recognized Song Qun; Brother Song was simply a straightforward person.
After dinner, Liu Guanfeng called Eastern Star, Song Qun, and Liu Hong into a room to discuss their "after matters." Xiao Tao stood inside the room as well since these matters could only be handled by him. Liu Guanfeng took out a bag of gold coins from his pocket.
"Xiao Tao, you will go to the coffin shop to order three coffins. Make sure to dig a few holes at the bottom of each coffin so that Eastern Team Leader, Liu Hong, and your father can breathe inside. Remember to have someone bury them early tomorrow morning. Later at night, you will dig them up again. From then on, Eastern Team Leader, you must go into hiding. It’s best if you and Liu Hong separate as well; after all, being together is a clear mark."
Eastern Star and Liu Hong nodded in agreement.
"I have some more gold coins here. Besides using some for Eastern Team Leader's arrangements, you three can split the remaining money. I hope you can find a secluded place to rest for a while before coming out; this way, Fu Brothers won’t monitor you anymore."
"Alright, we will follow your instructions," Eastern Star said without hesitation as he took the bag of coins from Liu Guanfeng's hand. Although he wanted to be polite, he understood the current situation of the Red Star Mercenary Group and feared that being too polite might upset Liu Guanfeng, so he accepted it readily.
Liu Guanfeng smiled slightly: "I believe someone will come to monitor you tonight. I hope you can return to how you were before I arrived; leave the rest to Xiao Tao. After Xiao Tao takes care of everything, return the house to the landlord and stay at the inn where I’m staying. I will come back to find you in a few days. Then we will leave together."
Xiao Tao nodded: "I understand, Third Brother."
"Alright then, I’ll head back now. Just make sure to act your parts here. You don’t need to see me off; just return to your rooms," Liu Guanfeng said before leaving Eastern Star's room and calling over Bao Rui and the other three.
"You four listen carefully: when we go out later, no one should show any signs of happiness. Everyone must have a sorrowful expression; it would be best if tears are shed."
"Why do it this way?" Iron Bull asked, as always probing for answers.
"Just do what you're told, why all the nonsense?" The only one who could directly reprimand Iron Bull was his brother, Copper Bull. After being a follower for so long, Liu Guanfeng had never scolded any of them.
Iron Bull let out a pitiful "Oh," looking quite wronged. Among the group, he was the only one with such a distressed expression, having just been scolded by his brother, which made his face look particularly unpleasant. From a performance perspective, Iron Bull's display of sadness was the most convincing among them.
As Liu Guanfeng led Bao Rui and the others out of the courtyard, he walked five meters forward before turning back to glance at the gate, shaking his head with a sigh before leaving. Just as Liu Guanfeng had departed, two heads peeked out from a distant alley. Bao Rui's cleverness was definitely not feigned. Upon hearing Liu Guanfeng seemingly talking to himself, he quickly chimed in, "Young Master, you don't need to take it too seriously. We're not far from home; let's set off early tomorrow. I'm sure the Master can send someone to pick you up."

Thus, he stopped monitoring Liu Guanfeng and turned back towards Red Star Mercenary Group's base.

"A tail was just behind us, but it's gone now."

"You all should get some rest. We have to set off early tomorrow," Third Brother said.
"Got it, Third Brother." The four boys replied and hurried back to their rooms.
After taking a hot shower, Liu Guanfeng lay down on his bed. Xiao Tao, whether this matter can be concealed from those watching will depend on your performance.
The person monitoring Liu Guanfeng returned to the Red Star Mercenary Group's base and met another person who was continuing the surveillance.
"Why are you back so soon? Weren't you supposed to be watching those Five Boys who just came out?"
"Those five kids were just looking for help from the Red Star Mercenary Group for protection. I thought there was no value in monitoring them anymore, so I came back. However, I heard that boy mention something about bad luck. Are those Little Guys from the Red Star Mercenary Group already done for?"
"Let's go take a look then. I heard the vice captain of the Red Star Mercenary Group is a Little Girl named Liu Hong, who is extremely attractive. It would be a pity if she died like this."
The other person glanced at him. "You only know about Little Girls; sooner or later, you'll die because of a woman's whims."

As the two reached outside the courtyard, they heard a boy crying inside. They climbed onto the wall and looked into the courtyard, where three flat boards were laid out, each with a person lying on it, their heads covered with white cloths. The one crying was Song Haitao, and Xiao Tao was sobbing uncontrollably. Behind the three individuals were three coffins placed separately.
Xiao Tao cried for a while before bringing over a basin of clean water to start wiping the faces of the three people. After finishing, she placed them into the coffin. In fact, these actions were all instructed by Liu Guanfeng. Only when Xiao Tao was wiping could the people outside see the faces of those lying inside. This was also to prevent anyone from sneaking into the courtyard to observe and to avoid any accidents.
The people monitoring outside saw that Xiao Tao was wiping and placing the individuals into the coffin, which were Eastern Star, Liu Hong, and Song Qun from the Red Star Mercenary Group. The latter two jumped down from the wall. Both of them had participated in the initial ambush against Eastern Star and others, so they recognized the appearances of these individuals.
"Brother, you stay here and keep an eye on things for another couple of days. I will head back to report this good news to the two captains," one of them said, nodding.
"Alright."
The other turned around and disappeared into the night, while the remaining person continued to monitor everything happening in the courtyard.
The next morning, Liu Guanfeng woke up early. After having breakfast with Bao Rui and others, he mounted his horse and prepared to return to Rain City. The group traveled for a total of two and a half days before finally seeing the city walls of Rain City. However, Liu Guanfeng did not plan to enter Rain City; instead, he led Bao Rui and the other four around Rain City directly towards the mountain where Liu Yong'an trained his private soldiers.
However, when they rode about ten miles away from Rain City, many graves appeared in a nearby grove, and there was a figure cleaning near them.
Liu Guanfeng felt that this silhouette looked very familiar, but since it kept appearing and disappearing among the trees, coupled with Little Black's fast pace, he couldn't recognize who was cleaning the graves.
"Bao Rui, did you see clearly who that person cleaning the graves was? I feel like I’ve seen that person before," he asked.
Bao Rui shook his head as well. "I didn’t see clearly either; her body was blocked by grass. I could only roughly tell it should be a woman."
"Forget it for now; we can check it out when I come back later. Let's head to the military camp first."
Soon, Liu Guanfeng brought Bao Rui and the other four youths to the front of the mountain where they had trained private soldiers before. Seeing this mountain brought back many memories for Liu Guanfeng. Suddenly, two soldiers emerged from the bushes beside them. When these two saw Liu Guanfeng, they were momentarily stunned before walking directly up to him.
"Subordinate pays respects to the Deputy General." The person who arrived was none other than Gao Yu, who had become familiar with Liu Guanfeng on the first day.
"Oh, it's Brother Gao. Is it your turn to guard the mountain pass today?"
"Yes, General. What brings you here today?" Gao Yu asked in confusion.
"Is there a reason I can't come?" Liu Guanfeng replied with a smile.
"No, no! How could I say that, General? I'm just surprised. I'll take you to the camp right away." After saying this, Gao Yu turned to another soldier nearby and said, "I'm taking the General to the camp; you keep an eye on things here." Once he finished giving instructions, Gao Yu walked directly in front of Liu Guanfeng and led him into the deep mountains.
Liu Guanfeng was quite familiar with the path to the military camp, so he followed Gao Yu without hesitation as they climbed the cliff and then entered a cave. When Liu Guanfeng emerged from the cave, he saw the training grounds just as he remembered, with a group of people practicing the Youth Long Fist that he had taught them.
As Liu Guanfeng stepped out of the cave, the soldier leading the way hurried off to report to Deputy General Du. In a short while, Deputy General Du arrived with several Minor Generals and Du Zhenyang.
"Why have you returned, dear nephew?"
Liu Guanfeng cupped his fist in greeting to Deputy General Du and said, "Uncle Du, how have you been this past year?"
Deputy General Du nodded. "Good, good! Come on, nephew; let's go inside and talk." He turned away to wipe his tears and then pulled Liu Guanfeng into his room.
