As the three of them passed through the gate guarded by the seemingly lifeless City Defense Soldiers, they arrived at the spot where Liu Guanfeng was. When Wang Jiao saw Liu Guanfeng and Li Xiaohan sitting on the same Mount, he gave Li Xiaohan a mysterious smile, causing her to blush and lower her head.
Liu Guanfeng smiled calmly and tightened his arm around Li Xiaohan's waist, whispering, "What’s there to be shy about? You are my designated bride."
Li Xiaohan turned her head and shot Liu Guanfeng a glare.

Just as the sun peeked over the horizon, a series of urgent knocks echoed at the Dong Family's gate. Dong Renchuan was sitting in the living room sipping tea when he heard Jin Er's cries. His brows furrowed immediately. As they passed by a clothing store, Liu Guanfeng and Li Xiaohan went in to buy several decent outfits for Li Xiaohan and picked up two sets for Wang Jiao before exiting through the west gate. Just as Liu Guanfeng's group gathered together, he smiled slightly upon seeing the slowly closing city gates: "It seems they have realized something."

Li Xiaohan, nestled in Liu Guanfeng's arms, looked up at him and asked, "Xiaofeng, where are we going?"
