It might be because of the presence of this beast that Liu Guanfeng had not encountered any monsters during his swim. Just when Liu Guanfeng was about fifty meters away from the small island, the beast standing in the middle of the island sensed him.
Its previously closed eyes were now wide open, staring at Liu Guanfeng, who continued to move his body. At that moment, the beast seemed to feel its dignity was being violated and let out a roar that shook the heavens.

The beast glanced at Liu Guanfeng and shook its head. "Since you don't want to give way, then I have no choice but to charge through. By then, it will be too late for you to regret."
The beast ignored Liu Guanfeng's words and swung its massive tail towards him. Liu Guanfeng jumped back to evade this attack.
As soon as his feet landed, Liu Guanfeng leaped forward again. The beast's tail swept back around for another strike, and this time Liu Guanfeng extended his legs forward and fell backward onto the ground as the tail passed over him. Just as the tail brushed past his body, Liu Guanfeng thrust his halberd upward.
The beast's tail struck Liu Guanfeng's halberd, leaving a mark on it but not breaking through. Instead, Liu Guanfeng was sent flying by the beast's immense force. Fortunately, he held tightly onto his halberd; otherwise, it would have been knocked away.
Using the momentum, Liu Guanfeng rolled over and stood up. After getting back on his feet, he charged towards the beast's tail while activating his Chaos Shield for safety. Within the three-meter diameter protective shield, Liu Guanfeng lunged at the beast.
Seeing Liu Guanfeng charging again, the beast raised its massive tail high and slammed it down forcefully. Liu Guanfeng swiftly dodged to the left as the tail smashed down onto the bones on the ground into powder. Seeing that the tail had hit the ground, he jumped onto it.
When the beast noticed that this human had jumped onto its tail, it attempted to lift its tail to throw off this insignificant creature. However, Liu Guanfeng used this force to jump again, holding a halberd in each hand as he aimed for the beast's back with a powerful thrust.
Liu Guanfeng's attack proved somewhat effective; with Chaotic Qi enveloping the tips of his halberds, they successfully pierced into the beast's body. However, only about an inch of their length penetrated inside. Yet even this inch caused the beast to scream wildly. Blood began to flow from where the halberd pierced it as it desperately twisted its body in an attempt to throw Liu Guanfeng off its back. Nevertheless, Liu Guanfeng held tightly onto his Twin Halberds without falling off.
Just as Liu Guanfeng was preparing to attack again, the beast changed its combat style. A sword-like object above the beast's head lit up, and a powerful current surged through the iron spear in Liu Guanfeng's hand, transferring directly to him.
At that moment, Liu Guanfeng realized something was wrong as soon as he saw the object light up. He quickly mobilized his Fighting Qi to protect his internal organs. As the current passed through his body, he experienced a brief numbness, but soon Liu Guanfeng regained his composure.
Liu Guanfeng was very familiar with electric currents. If it had been someone else today, they might have suffered greatly. However, since it was him, Liu Guanfeng was least afraid of lightning. He swiftly wrapped the invading current in his body with his Fighting Qi.

The beast leaped high and aimed its claws at Liu Guanfeng's shoulders. Liu Guanfeng raised his Twin Halberds to block the attack. The reduction in size meant a significant decrease in power for the beast; he managed to withstand this force just fine.
After blocking the beast's claws with his Twin Halberds, Liu Guanfeng leaned back while the beast lunged forward. As he fell to the ground, Liu Guanfeng kicked off from the beast's lower abdomen and sent it flying high into the air.
Liu Guanfeng performed a swift maneuver and stood up again just as the beast prepared to unleash its strongest move. The creature let out a long roar toward the sky; dark clouds began gathering above Liu Guanfeng and the beast. Observing these clouds overhead made Liu Guanfeng think: this scene feels somewhat familiar.
Back when he was on Wolf Island, the Wolf King had also used this move. Faced with this technique now, Liu Guanfeng could only respond with a cold smile; however, what he did not expect was that this time it would not be all of the beast's energy.
Seeing the clouds gather above it, the beast released a bolt of lightning toward them. Following that strike, numerous bolts of lightning began falling from within those clouds every few seconds. One bolt accurately struck down onto the ground below where the beast stood; however, it seemed completely unresponsive to these electric attacks.
In contrast to Liu Guanfeng, although he was not afraid of lightning, he certainly could not remain oblivious like that beast. Thus, Liu Guanfeng could only dodge lightning strikes while battling against the creature; as a result, he found himself in a passive position.
At this moment, Liu Guanfeng realized the power of this magical beast. It had deliberately created this combat environment, taking advantage of its immunity to lightning, making it virtually invincible in this setting.
