Starfall Kingdom saw the Shield Soldiers charging forward. The soldiers beside the canvas items on the city wall quickly lifted the canvas, revealing the true form of the massive Siege Crossbow bolts. Each Siege Crossbow bolt was nearly three meters long, already fitted with a gigantic arrow that measured two meters in length.
The soldiers pushed the Siege Crossbow to the edge of the parapet, and enormous arrowheads extended from that position. Below, Wu Ta observed carefully as he noticed movement on the city wall. When he saw the giant arrowheads, he was taken aback: what were those?

Many Archers had suffered due to these crossbows; they believed that after firing once, they needed to re-draw their bows. Although they were unsure what their opponents were using, they thought it required a brief pause like traditional bows. However, just as they stood up to counterattack during an opening, a second bolt had already arrived.
The Shotgun Crossbow inflicted significant casualties on the Siege Engineers behind. After being shot, the crossbow bolts followed a moderate arc due to the wind, and this trajectory was lethal enough to bypass the Siege Engineers' shields and strike their flanks.
Although there was only one Longbowman at each battlement, each of them could simultaneously release arrows equivalent to several archers. This dense rain of arrows caught the Huaxing Kingdom completely off guard.
Despite the chaos among the soldiers, Wu Ta had no intention of retreating. His plan was to take Starlight Village today; otherwise, delaying further would worsen his situation, potentially forcing him to withdraw his troops.
The third wave of Shield Soldiers charged forward, picking up the ladders dropped by the previous Siege Engineers. When they reached the base of the wall, a large number of Rolling Logs and Stones, boiling oil, and incendiary bombs were prepared for them above. Instantly, screams erupted from below the wall, and the situation became dire.
The battle lasted over two hours, and not a single soldier from the Huaxing Kingdom managed to reach the wall. Seeing that both sides were becoming fatigued, Wu Ta shouted loudly, “Na Kuang, Zhong Yi, where are you?”

“Now is the time; you two lead the Shield Soldiers up.”

Na Kuang dismounted from his Mount and forcefully pulled off his armor. At this moment, Na Kuang stood bare-chested, raising his Greatsword high as he shouted, “Brothers, charge with me! We will not turn back until we break through the city gates.” With that, Na Kuang was the first to charge out, followed by numerous Shield Soldiers. Zhong Yi also rushed out with a shield in one hand and a knife in the other.
Under the leadership of these two generals, the Shield Soldiers behind them surged forward as if invigorated by a surge of energy, shouting loudly as they waved their weapons and charged ahead.
Seeing the Siege Crossbow on the wall, Na Kuang shouted, “Scatter!” and leaped to the right side just as a Giant Crossbow bolt flew past where he had been standing.
After getting up, Na Kuang continued to charge forward without looking back. As he ran, he used his Greatsword to deflect incoming crossbow bolts. When he reached the base of the wall, he instructed the Siege Engineers to steady the ladder before climbing up it with both hands gripping his sword.
The Rolling Logs and Stones being thrown down by soldiers on the wall were deflected by Na Kuang as he got closer to the wall's edge. Just as soldiers prepared to shoot him with crossbows, Na Kuang thrust his Greatsword forward directly into one soldier's throat. With a powerful push against the battlement with both arms, Na Kuang jumped up and firmly stood on top of the wall.
He was the first person from Huaxing Kingdom to ascend the city wall today. With Na Kuang guarding at the battlement, more Shield Soldiers climbed up behind him. On the other side of the city gate, Zhong Yi also broke through defenses and ascended to the wall.
Under the leadership of two generals, numerous Shield Soldiers surged onto the city walls. No soldier from the Starfall Kingdom could withstand the attacks of Na Kuang and Zhong Yi in their vicinity.
Taking advantage of their momentum, the battering rams at the city gate charged forward, slamming into the gates with tremendous force, causing them to tremble precariously.
At this moment, Liu Guanfeng sat atop Little Black and addressed Copper Bull and Iron Bull, who stood below the city wall: "It's about time; you two go up."
Upon receiving Liu Guanfeng's command, Copper Bull and Iron Bull rushed up the stairs on either side of the wall. Inside the city gate, three rows of Crossbowmen took their positions—lying down, crouching, and standing—all with their crossbows drawn and aimed at the entrance.
Copper Bull and Iron Bull reached the top of the wall, where hundreds of Shield Soldiers were already engaged in battle with soldiers from the Starfall Kingdom. Na Kuang and Zhong Yi maintained a vacuum around them, as the two generals responsible for defending the wall lay dead in pools of blood.
Both Na Kuang and Zhong Yi were Advanced Knights, specifically mid-level Advanced Knights, while the generals tasked with guarding the city were merely Intermediate Knights. The disparity was significant. Moreover, Na Kuang and Zhong Yi were currently enraged, leading to the City Defense Generals being severely injured within just two exchanges. Fortunately, they did not pursue their opponents outside to finish them off.
Copper Bull and Iron Bull brandished their weapons and charged straight at Na Kuang and Zhong Yi. Any Huaxing Kingdom soldiers who came near were swiftly knocked off the wall by them. The chaos nearby caught Na Kuang and Zhong Yi's attention; realizing that reinforcements were approaching, they immediately abandoned their position at the battlements. They understood that the soldiers on the wall were no match for these two warriors; to protect those on the wall, they had no choice but to give up their post.
Thus, Copper Bull engaged Na Kuang while Iron Bull confronted Zhong Yi.
The battle between Advanced Knights was indeed extraordinary. As the four clashed on the city wall, there was a five-meter radius around them devoid of any other fighters; even the charging Shield Soldiers changed their point of attack.
Without exchanging a word, they began fighting. Copper Bull swung his Double Hammer at Na Kuang with ferocity. In terms of strength, Na Kuang was no match for Copper Bull, especially since he had already been defending on the wall for some time and was fatigued. The first strike from Copper Bull nearly sent Na Kuang's Greatsword flying, prompting him to be more cautious to avoid direct contact between his Greatsword and Copper Bull's Hammer.
On the other side, Iron Bull wielded his Twin Blades with rapid precision while Zhong Yi could only fend off his attacks continuously. The difference in strength compensated for any technical disparities, resulting in a fierce stalemate between them.
Wu Ta saw his side struggling on the walls and immediately ordered a full-scale assault to capture the city gate as quickly as possible. All cavalry charged towards Little Star Village. When they arrived at the base of Little Star Village's walls, it was announced that the city gate had been breached.
With a loud crash, the gate was smashed open, and cavalry surged through immediately. However, instead of being met with victorious cheers, they faced a barrage of crossbow bolts; all knights entering through the gate along with their mounts became like hedgehogs. The arrows continued to rain down relentlessly as rows of cavalry fell at the entrance.
In just this brief charge, over a thousand Hua Xing soldiers had already perished at the city gate, with more soldiers continuing to fall.
Seeing this, Liu Guanlei swung his Wolf Tooth Club and shouted, "Brothers, charge with me!"
Wu Ta, as the Grand Marshal, did not follow the soldiers into battle but remained on his Mount, preparing to enjoy the victory. However, the chaos at the city gate made him sense that something bad was happening.
At that moment, a general wielding a Wolf Tooth Club and riding a Blazing Lion charged out from the city gate. No one could approach this General; even the Squad Leader of the Intermediate Knights was crushed in an instant. Wu Ta finally recognized this person as Liu Guanlei, the Grand Marshal of Starfall Kingdom.
Wu Ta turned to Jiang Xingshi beside him and said, "Divine Envoy, you hold the line here while I go meet their Grand Marshal."
With a forceful kick, Wu Ta urged his Mount, the Creeping Dragon, forward towards Liu Guanlei. The Creeping Dragon is a type of Earth Dragon that can only reach up to Ninth Tier; Tenth Rank Earth Dragons do not appear on the continent. There is a rule in Knight's continent that once a dragon or Earth Dragon reaches Tenth Rank while roaming on the main roads, it will be taken by the Dragon King to Dragon Island. Therefore, Tenth Rank dragons or Earth Dragons only appear on Dragon Island.
The Creeping Dragon that Wu Ta rode was also a type of Earth Dragon, with a small head and a large body adorned with several bony spikes on its back, resembling a modern-day Stegosaurus.
As Wu Ta rode on the Creeping Dragon, he shouted loudly while charging, "Liu Guanlei, you little brat, don't be arrogant! This Grand Marshal has come to meet you."
Wu Ta's voice made the soldiers of Huaxing Kingdom part to give him a path, while Liu Guanlei dodged and charged towards Wu Ta through the opening.
As they approached each other, Liu Guanlei took advantage of his weapon's length and swung down with his Wolf Tooth Club. The wolf teeth on the club glinted ominously. Wu Ta quickly dodged on his Creeping Dragon and pushed out with his sword.
The two commanders exchanged positions as Wu Ta and Liu Guanfeng turned their Mounts around. Wu Ta said, "Liu Guanlei, I see you are a hero. Why not dismount and surrender? I will speak well of you before His Majesty. You will not only survive but also gain a position as a Divine Envoy. Isn't that better than being a Grand Marshal of a Small Nation? What do you say?"
"Wu Ta, do you not see how things stand? I will tell you plainly: today your Huaxing Kingdom is doomed to defeat. It is only a matter of time before we capture your imperial capital. Prepare to lose your life."
The two urged their Mounts again and charged at each other once more. This time it was still Liu Guanlei who attacked first. Wu Ta dodged the blow from the club and swept his great sword horizontally at Liu Guanlei, who raised his Wolf Tooth Club behind him to block the strike.
