The Well Platform had just been activated, and Shining Star City entered a state of alert. Every soldier drew their bows, ready for the impending attack. However, just as their attention was focused on the Well Platform, darkness filled the sky. When they looked up, they were shocked to see a large number of Stones appearing above them, each about the size of a human head.

However, above, Wu Ta did not give up; he continued to organize his soldiers for resistance. Yet those soldiers could not stop the advance of the Well Platform. Once it entered range of the Catapults, the Siege Engineers increased their angles. Now, the Catapults could launch stones directly into the city, causing great suffering for those in reserve below.
One stone after another fell from above without warning into the ranks of the reserve troops. Chaos erupted within the city as giant rocks rained down, also damaging houses near the walls.
With combined efforts from several Catapults, the city gate was finally breached. At this moment, Liu Qiang, Du Zhenyang, and Song Haitao, who had been waiting nearby, turned their gazes toward Liu Guanfeng.
Liu Guanfeng raised his weapon again and commanded, “Liu Qiang, Du Zhenyang, Song Haitao, lead your teams to charge!”
“Understood! Brothers, charge!”
With that, the three men mounted their horses and led their soldiers straight toward the city gate. Just then, the Well Platform advanced to within about five meters of the wall. Inside the Well Platform, a ramp was lowered—a six or seven-meter-long wooden board that connected directly to the walls of Shining Star City.
As soon as the ramp was set up, shouts of battle erupted from within the Well Platform. Liu Guanlei and Liu Guanyu were among the first to rush out, only to be met by Wu Ta, Commander of the Huaxing Kingdom, waiting for them atop the wall.

These military leaders led their remaining troops westward towards their imperial capital, Starlight City. The five cities within Huaxing Kingdom were arranged like dice, with four cities surrounding the main city in the center.
As the number of soldiers in Shining Star City gradually decreased, Wu Ta felt it was time for him to leave. He swung his sword repeatedly, forcing Liu Guanlei and Liu Guanyu back a few steps. Seizing this opportunity, he dashed out of Shining Star City.
