People around exchanged comments, but Luo Yi mostly ignored them, remaining silent as he pondered.
He couldn't be sure whether Tang Wuqing had truly fled or if something else had happened. Regardless, he couldn't let this individual delay their siege plans. After resolving this matter, he still needed to support the Qi Kingdom battlefield; time was of the essence.
"General Bao, have our siege equipment arrived?" Luo Yi suddenly turned and asked one of his subordinates.
"It arrived overnight, General. When shall we begin the siege? The soldiers are eager for battle," General Bao replied.
Luo Yi nodded thoughtfully for a moment and said, "Alright, regardless of whether that Tang Wuqing returns tomorrow or not, we will commence the siege. Also, send someone to gather the remaining personnel from the Left Wing Legion and integrate them into the main force."
"Yes, General, I understand." General Bao replied and hurriedly left the main tent.
On the other side, in Qinghe City.
Lu Chen was leading core generals Lei Kai, Lu Qing, Yue Shaoting, and others, inspecting the city gate and comforting the garrison officers on duty.
