"What kind of surprise do you have for me this time?" Lu Chen asked with a smile.
Chen Qilin let out a faint "hmph" sound, then swallowed hard, hesitating to speak, a mysterious smile on his face.
After a long while, Chen Qilin finally spoke: "Dragonbone Chariot, I have had this idea in my heart for a long time. I have endured for decades, and now I can finally realize it. Thank you, Master, for your generous gift and for giving me this opportunity. Without you, there would be no today for me."
"Chen Lao, you flatter me. You have made great sacrifices by remaining unmarried for your ambitions. Moreover, everything you are doing now is because of me. It is I who should be thanking you," the Master replied.
"Master, your kindness is overwhelming. In the past, I was truly blind to follow that fellow Defender of the Realm and even helped him develop Fire Thunder. I feel ashamed. In the future, when you attack the Central Plains, the Fire Thunder from the Great Zhou Court will undoubtedly cause immense destruction—it's unimaginable."

Chen Qilin designed it to traverse land, sea, and air without hindrance; the Dragonbone Chariot was no exception. However, at present, it only had two functions for water travel and could move through soil with power comparable to that of the Burrowing Shuttle.
