I got into the carriage leaving the residence, thinking about how to retaliate. However, by the time I arrived at the General's mansion, I still hadn't come up with a plan. I was taken to a secluded courtyard. An old woman came in, stripped me of my clothes, and inspected me thoroughly. After confirming that I was a virgin, she had someone dress me up and took me to the General's quarters.
I waited there for a long time until the evening when the General finally appeared. He looked at me in surprise and asked, "Who are you?" I replied, "I am Wei Yang, a maidservant from the Minister's Residence." The General raised an eyebrow and said, "Why is it you?" I answered, "The young lady is considerate of me and sent me to serve you."
The General snorted coldly, noncommittal. I said, "General, it's late; you should rest." He walked to the bedside, sat down, and looked at me, saying, "Come here." The General frowned and remarked, "You are quite bold." I replied, "I am just reminding you, General."
"I understand," he said. "Then let me serve you for rest." After saying that, I walked in front of the General, stood on my tiptoes, and began to untie his belt. My hands trembled with nervousness, making it difficult to loosen it. The General frowned in displeasure and asked, "How did someone so clumsy get chosen as a trial marriage maid?"
"I was previously a seamstress by the young lady's side and was just transferred to serve Old Lady."
"No wonder," he replied.
"I will serve you for rest," I said again as I attempted to untie his belt once more. Suddenly, he reached out and grasped my waist, lifting me up.
I gasped and instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck.
He placed me on the bed, his eyes fixed on me without blinking.
I felt embarrassed under his gaze and lowered my eyelids.
"You seem unwilling," he said.
I replied, "No, I'm not."
The General asked, "Then why are you trembling?"
I explained, "It's just that this is my first time being so close to a man, and I'm a bit nervous."
The General chuckled, "You're quite honest."
After staring at me for a moment, he remarked, "You seem to have lost some weight."
I froze and looked up at him.
He continued to gaze into my eyes and said, "Weren't you quite plump before?"
"How did you lose so much weight?"
"Did you intentionally slim down?"
I shook my head, "No."
"It was my brother who took away my monthly allowance, so I didn't have money for food and ended up losing weight from hunger."
In truth, I was just following the weight loss methods from my previous life.
I realized that as long as I slimmed down, I would become beautiful.
The General asked, "Is that so?"
"Then why were you so overweight before?"
I bit my lip and remained silent.
The General pinched my chin to make me look at him.
I was forced to meet his gaze.
His eyes were bright, like black gemstones, sparkling with light.
He asked, "Are you afraid of me?"
I shook my head, "I'm not afraid."
I simply respect him.
Because he is a general.
The general smiled and released my chin.
He said, "Rest now."
I was taken aback and instinctively asked, "Aren't you going to touch me?"
He smiled faintly, "Are you so eager for me to touch you?"
I bit my lip and fell silent.
My first time with the general went smoothly.
The moment he entered, I felt a tearing pain.
But I held it in and didn't cry out.
In my past life, I had experienced this kind of pain many times.
So I could endure it.
The general seemed to find my reaction amusing; he stared at me for a long time before suddenly asking, "What is your name?"
I replied, "I am called Wei Yang."

I closed my eyes and let him take his pleasure with me.

He got up, put on his clothes, and left the room.
I lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
